Renting a 2-bed property through Seymours Woking was a deeply regrettable experience. From day one to the final day of tenancy, their behaviour was marked by dishonesty, pressure tactics, and complete disregard for tenant rights.

Seymours has played a major role in helping us to achieve a successful house sale following our dreadful experience with another local agency which was very rude and lacking professionalism.We were extremely disappointed with this first agent who wasted 2 precious months during the summer time where the house market price was at its best to sell our property. This left us sceptic as to being able to trust another agent again. That was until we contacted Mark (Seymours) who managed to convince us to give it a try again with his agency appreciating that he and his team had also managed to sell successfully another house in our same street with a neighbour we knew quite well. We are forever grateful for Mark’s support who has shown a high level of expertise and professionalism during the time our property was on sale on the market. He played an important role in providing an accurate and realistic valuation of our property and in reinsuring us about the unique opportunity we had before the winter came, at a time where we were dealing with multiple personal challenges in our life. We would also like to thank his team and more specifically Simon, Alan, Billy, Gary and Sahil who also helped by maintaining a smooth communication during the entire process. They were extremely professional, very kind and their approach were smooth, removing any ambiguities and/or misunderstandings during the entire process. I have no hesitation in recommending Seymours to anyone hoping to sale their property successfully. Thank you again to all the Seymours team for all their help and commitment. We agreed the sale pre-lockdown, and moved 4 months later after the Covid crisis. Thomas is perfect, he always nice smile, friendly and really helpful, and patient. He took almost a hour to assist me to answer the purchase questionnaire, provide a useful information to me. He is worth to get five stars.
There's so much more to just buying, selling and renting. The never ending trail of paperwork that's required is often a minefield when you're not used to it. We're here to help with every little detail as long as it makes the whole property journey as enjoyable as possible. Thanks Angel.

GoogleHabitual liars, underhand tactics and only looking out for number one. Think nothing of upsetting elderly sellers or applying undue pressure on them. Will then try underhand tactics if you sell with another company after calling them out on the above. Disgusting people and management. Edit: At no point on todays visit to the office, as per the response to this review, did I act in an aggressive manner. The staff were unsurprised by the allegations of underhand tactics being put to them. The guilty smirk of one of the office juniors and the arrogance of Matt who has previous for dishonesty and poor service, seeing the demise of his own agency, and the false denials of Vince who has a local reputation as being dishonest speak volumes in their deflection of this review.
It is disappointing to receive your review, Reviews of this nature are very unusual as the record shows, as a team we always endeavor to provide the best service possible and would like to extend our apologies to you if that was not your experience. Following your visit to the office this morning, at which point you were both abusive and aggressive, we would like to clarify that all issues have been addressed and we wish you the very best for the future

Slow communication with us as well as communication within their own office - don't blame it on the international factor, that should not have been an issue, especially since you said you deal with international customers all the time. Typos in communication via email as well as on printed property brochures as well as online listing. This is a huge negative and extremely unprofessional. And, still typos in email correspondence after complaining about it. Again, not professional at all for those kinds of typos. Recommended a horrible solicitor but then only recommended a slightly less horrible one after that, but they didnt seem very concerned with our solicitor issues because at that point, they had already made the sale. On that note, I could have and should have used a private solicitor. Would not use Seymour's again.

Nick visited in February when we still had a tenant and the flat was quite tatty. Three months later, after a refurb, he came round and revised the estimate upwards to reflect the improvements. In the event, we had four viewings in five days and got an offer in excess of the new valuation.Well done indeed. Sale not done and dusted yet but full expectations of a prompt and successful completion.
