GoogleKirsty Woodley has been wonderful since our first viewing at a previous house, right the way through to where we are now, at exchange of contracts. Professional, friendly, clear and extremely knowledgeable, she has set our minds at ease time and time again. Kirsty has worked very hard, both on our behalf and the seller's, to bring this purchase to this through, even though it has been far from an easy task! If we ever come to sell again, we'll be using Chancellors.

GoogleVery pleased with the service we received from Josh and the team at Chancellors Witney. We were difficult clients in so far as the timescales we were under to complete our sale and purchase, Josh understood and did all he could to help us meet them, which has meant that we are now enjoying our life in Devon! Moving house is stressful but was made less so by Josh and everyone at Chancellors Witney, thanks for your efforts, patience and support!

GoogleI recently had a change of tenants at a property I own in Witney, and had nothing but help and support from the staff at Chancellors Witney, especially Katherine and Alice. Despite a difficult situation because I was on holiday some of the time, and the turnaround gave us only a few days in which to have to place cleaned and decorated, Katherine was extremely supportive, and I really appreciated her 'can do' attitude to everything, especially keeping me constantly informed of the situation by phone and email whilst I was in Europe. The process is nearly complete now, and I could not have managed it without the support of Chancellors staff in Witney.

GoogleI want to express my thanks to Katherine Yates, Lettings Manager for engaging with me from my initial inquiry with regards to letting my property to finding an appropriate tenant. I was cautious as it was a brand new property and my first time let. Katherine answered my numerous questions, was always courteous and friendly and she was able to secure suitable tenants for my property within a month of my initial inquiry. Thank you Katherine for making the process easier!

GoogleI can't fault or thank Chancellors enough, esp Kirsty Woodley enough for making my house move as smooth as possible. I was a first time buyer and had no idea what to expect but she was with me at every step of the way, even after completion helping me with post, keys etc... GoogleHi, I had a very long and strange but happy ending story with this company. It started normal, i have viewed a flat, applied for it, got it, but when it came to the background check part, my employer (manager) made a mistake with my earning so obviously I 'failed' on the affordability check. Even though I proved my earnings with P60 and payslips, it was not enough. This had nothing to do with agency since background check is done by a separate company, but that the staff was not helpful at all about solving the problem, got me really unhappy. They made me feel like 'this is the end of your story' even-though they have seen my proofs of earning, no-one has ever offered or suggested a solution! I was really pushing for a solution and have been thinking a lot about any possible way...After millions of calls and e-mails (obviously I was the one who insisted those things, because I was promised many times that "I'll call you back as soon as I know something!" but they have never called me back, but when I CALLED THEM THEY ALWAYS SAID "OH, THE RESULT JUST CAME, I WAS ABOUT TO CALL YOU"..yeah.) so after all these we got to a point that they have sent my p60 and payslips to the landlord to decide. Obviously they forgot to call me back about his decision, but at the end they told me: "the landlord confirmed it." They even sent me the tenancy agreement to sign. I signed it, my partner signed and the landlord signed. But then 12 days before the moving in date the landlord stepped back due to lack of affordability. Hmm...When i questioned them how is it possible to step back from a signed contract they told me that the landlord has not signed anything. So i sent the signed contrcat back to them. So they said, it is in the landlord's right to step back. I said OK but it is really not fair since I am moving to another city from 100kms away, with my family (little baby and my fiancee) and here in london we have cancelled everything!!! Answer: you should have waited for the confirmation! I told them that one of your collegues confirmed it by phone and sent me the contract to sign so to me it was clear that we have the flat. Hmm. No we didnt get the flat!!!! I had like 10days to go before being homeless in london. I came up with an idea what if we put through another application for the same flat or just redo the reference checks?! They told me thats fine. So they advised me to call the reference company. My manager had to send a headed letter to them explaining where and why she made rhe mistake. At this time a guy called CARL JEFFRIES jumped into my story because someone went on holiday and he took over my case. He was more than helpful with me and made me feel really comfortable by his knowledge and confident in getting the flat. At our first phone conversation he promised me hat i will get that flat, he will do everything for it. On the same day he called me back after closing hours, from his PRIVATE MOBILE PHONE(!!!!) an explained the possibilities! There is this expression "he goes for the extra mile"...in this case he went for the 100000 miles for us!!!! I didnt have to chase any agent anymore, since Carl was always in touch with me! He was/is soooo freaking professional and helpful that the english dictionary is not even enough to explain! The reference company didnt accept the letter sent by my manager because it was not a proper headed letter, however thats all she could do! Carl called the reference company and CONVINCE THEM TO ACCEPT IT!!!!! I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A HELPFUL HUMAN BEING! HE UNDERSTOOD OUR CASE AND SAVED US FROM BEING HOMELESS!!!!! I want his boss and all his collegues to read this review and give evrything to him that he deserves!!! It is nearly the end of the year, so if his boss still havemt decided who will be the Agent of the Year, then I would give him the answer! CARL JEFFRIES!!!! He saved the pride of the company in my eyes and proved that everything is possible if someone really pishes for it! He really did push for it! I am 100% sure that he is very successfull at everything he does!! Thanks Carl!!

GoogleI recently sold a flat in via Chancellors and was so pleased with the service and advice received from Paul Dunford-Brown and his team. I received honest and realistic advice on how to market the property, the price and who the target audience would be. But more than that, my expectations were managed with honesty and backed up with obvious experience. Paul was always available and if he wasn't in the office messages were passed on and he called back. Can't fault the service received.

FacebookWe just moved out of a property managed by chancellors, the agency and most of the staff working there are extremely incapable, downright unhelpful, with the exception of Isabelle Smyth - Senior Property Manager, so this 5 star goes to her and her only. She remained kind, polite and professional at all situations, was super helpful and where all others failed went out of her way to assist us with our queries. She deserves the recognition, if it wasn't for her we would have had a much worse experience than we did. Thanks Isabelle!

FacebookI recently used chancellors estate agents to move to one of there rented property’s. My dealing was with Declan Hartigan ,Who was very informed very helpful and welcoming. Very professional throughout the whole process keeping me informed with a personal touch. It's always a nice surprise when somebody remembers your name considering the amount of people they have to deal with. FacebookMe, my husband and our daughter just moved yesterday to our new flat. I can't belive all process was so quick and not as complicated as I first thought. Very special thanks to Nathan Tan, he was very patient and professional, he really supported us. He explained us everything, sometimes twice as we are not a native speakers ;). If you're a bit scared of all this "scary" agencies, forms, processes and other things that may seem to be complicated I can honestly recommend you chancellors and Nathan. Big thanks again!

FacebookWhat a pleasant experience! I went into the Henley branch and spoke to Jon, a very helpful employee for your Henley area. I needed some assistance in my property search and I was very impressed with your employees knowledge of the area, not only places/areas within my budget but also how close the houses were to everything else I would need to be around or near my new home, schools, shops etc! I'm in a bit of a rush as I am moving to the area for a job and knew nothing about Henley and surrounding suburbs. Whilst I was in the branch I was comfortable the whole time and did not feel pressured at all, which is refreshing for an estate agents! I left feeling like I had real direction on what was now within my means and will be back to arrange viewings next time I am in the area! A great experience overall!

GoogleWe have had an excellent experience with Chancellors letting our house in Witney. Steve Sadler is the consummate professional and set out for us the various options that we had at each stage. It is worth saying that we interviewed three agents before appointing Chancellors and we did not go with the agent that quoted the highest rent per month. Ashleigh Swales is worthy of particular mention as she kept moving the process forward without having to be prompted by us. Our views were sought at each stage in the process ie building works, selecting tenants, references, draft tenancy, disclosures, inventory etc. Ashleigh followed this up with the necessary paperwork for an early letting to our new tenants.
