In 1992 Strutt and Parker sold me a lovely house in Kent with a small estate, presented with complete honesty as to its drawbacks but clearly showing its immediate attractions, and its serious potential. For the next thirty years, they offered guidance and support as I kept track of the market in deciding when to sell. That led to a very satisfactory sale of the property in 2014 and successful outlying sales in 2020. What I valued above all was the knowledge of the market as it applied to our part of Kent, the clear communication of the situation and the consideration and discretion that accompanied it.

I highly recommend Strutt and Parker Lettings. I have been using them (Formerly Roberts Newby) in Gerrards Cross for seven years to rent property to me and my family. We are tenants in our third property from them at the moment! They have been an outstanding letting agent and managing agent throughout. The agents seem to always be available to help with any issues, they get repairs done quickly and without drama, and they seem to liaise extremely well with the landlord/owners. I am a demanding customer so it says a lot for me to give such high ratings. They truly get things done, and have kept us very happy!

I just rented a new apartment through Strutt & Parker in Gerrards Cross. From the moment I contacted Katie and Charlotte in lettings, I’ve had nothing but a professional and efficient service. I had an issue with referencing as I’ve not been in the UK for a long period and hence, my credit history was limited. Charlotte and Katie did everything possible to convince the Landlord that I was a reliable and trustworthy tenant. Thanks to their hard work, the Landlord accepted my application. I also had a few issues within the apartment and these were dealt with immediately and resolved. I have no reservation recommending Strutt & Parker, Gerrards Cross if you’re looking for a rental property or if you’re considering selling/purchasing a home

We have rented out properties with the Ascot Branch of Strutt & Parker for some years, with Phillipa Ives managing the process. We are very satisfied with the professional service we have received coupled with a personal approach, plus extensive knowledge of the area and the potential contractors in it. The last few ‘Covid’ months have been very difficult for some tenants, and Philippa has dealt with the issues with tact and understanding, whilst striving for the best outcome for everyone, fully supported by her Strutt & Parker colleagues. We would definitely recommend the Ascot Lettings Office of Strutt &Parker.

Strutt and Parker recently sold our property in Norfolk. We were persuaded to reduce the asking price by 7%, which we were disappointed at. Our agent was very helpful until lockdown in February, after which we never saw him again, but only held telephone conversations, until our sale in August. He did not hand over the keys at completion as he was on a day off. we handed over to the purchasers ourselves. Since then we have had no contact, apart from unnecessary advertising by the company. Since the fees were around £15,000, we were disappointed.

This is the worst company I have ever rented from (and I have rented from many). They are unprofessional, do not care if you are robbed or had your apartment broken into, and finally will always support the landlord regardless of the circumstance. My apartment was robbed and they told me I could not break my contract and leave as the lardlord and struttandparker denied me so. I reverted to using my break clause (which I initially forced into the contract) which took place in a few months. The apartment I entered was not clean, furniture broken and damaged and they would not change it, and also not to mention their managing company trying to enter my apartment on multiple occasions using their keys while I was inside. This is a terrible money hunting company and I will never recommend them to anyone ever...

Emma Smith who was our main contact from valuation (with Guy Robinson) to final sale was lovely to deal with, extremely hard working, always went the extra mile and very helpful throughout. She has made the whole process so much more pleasurable with her honest, reassuring and charming professional manner. This made what could have been a stressful time a really positive experience & subsequent to our house sale she has been extremely patient and long suffering in our quest to find a new family home. I have been a landlord client of the company for several years. The fees charged for property management are worth every penny, and considering the nature of the task in hand (keeping both landlords and tenants happy) the staff do an absolutely brilliant job. In particular I am always delighted with how quickly I receive statements around this time of year when my tax return is being completed and I usually need the information yesterday!

Terrible service from Strutt & Parker on Sloane Street.Alexandra turned up to do a viewing without giving us any notice and on the day we were to move out demanded to do a viewing after I emailed and explained our last 2 days would be hectic and could they give us privacy.She didn’t care and was so happy to get us in but couldn’t wait to get us out and get another tenant in.Nina the lettings manager I had to deal with on several occasions one being we had no fridge freezer or dishwasher working for 6 weeks of moving in.Then there was a gas leak and no oven working all I was told was “You have a microwave,kettle and toaster make do!” No customer care whatsoever.

I've had a relatively good and quick experience during the process of looking for a rental through Strutt & Parker, the viewing and offer process was quick and dealt with in a professional manner.After the offer was accepted, the experience changed, they were very unhelpful and unfriendly when negotiating the contract.They were somehow helpful when talking about the logistics during the move in day arranging for free parking.Once moved in, the property manager was very unhelpful, I had small queries about the facilities and they took a lot of time to respond and sometimes grossly misinforming us. For example, I was told that I can't change my electricity provider and in the end that proved to be a lie as we could and did change our electricity provider. The stress and work necessary to always go back-forth for the smallest of things is upsetting. Given that the rent for the place is 500/week I was expecting more professionalism but I guess that's too much to ask in a city where there are loads of people willing to pay what they're asking for. Hopefully that would change once Brexit hits the property market. During my interactions with them, I can say that there are very few fairly professional individuals working at Strutt & Parker while the rest are grossly unprofessional.

We used the Perth Office to sell our home after the first lock down last year. Hamish and Amy are first class. Despite the continued restrictions they were able to quickly organise the valuation, marketing and viewings. Attracted numerous viewers and received a successful offer within a few weeks of the advert going live online. Concluded the sale quickly without any issues. We would highly recommend them as selling agents for your home.
