We don’t normally write reviews, but in this case, my wife and I were so impressed and happy with the service provided by Strutt and Parker, and in particular by Aaron Turner, that I felt I should, in the true spirit of reviews, to offer help to those who are seeking insight into Strutt and Parker! We selected Strutt and Parker because we liked the clear market insights and the realistic approach to marketing our house, offered by Aaron Turner at our initial meeting. Once selected Aaron Turner was directly responsible for acting on our sale, but he did so much more, working to coordinate agents and solicitors above and below us in the chain, as well as keeping communications open and frequent with our buyers even when things went temporarily wrong in the chain. Best estate agent we have dealt with

We have just exchanged contracts on a house marketed by Strutt & Parker, and Aaron Turner has been a delight to work with. Although he was acting for the vendor, he invested more time and energy in keeping our purchase moving than our own estate agents did with our sales. He is calm, measured, experienced, and a great communicator. When my partner’s sale fell through and we had to pull out of the chain temporarily, Aaron was constructive and realistic about the steps needed to get things moving again quickly. Today we exchanged not only on our purchase, but also on the sales of both our properties, and Aaron has kept up momentum behind the scenes by proactively contacting all parties involved. I recently bought a property through Aaron and can't recommend him highly enough. This wasn't a simple transaction, and there were a few points where it could easily have stalled. Aaron stayed calm and professional throughout, kept everyone moving, and worked hard to find solutions which suited both sides. His communication was outstanding. Unprofessional and Unethical Estate agent. My offer for full asking price was accepted against one of their listings for which I did proceed straight away after they have issued me a memorandum of sale. Got structural survey done within the next 48 hours and solicitor also carried out few searches without any delays. After 5 days, I received a call that seller has accepted another higher offer and estate agent asked me to increase my offer again. They have cleverly put all blames on the seller that its their choice. How can an estate agent carried on with further viewings after a Memo of sale was issued. They have only looked after their own and seller interest and ignored the interest of the purchaser. They are using UK law to their advantage so that they get more commission on sale. So be aware, if your offer is accepted, they can still sell it to other buyers and you will be left with frustrations and out of monies from your pocket with this estate agent. In response to your comments: I agree that UK law allows you to put forward all offers to the seller but is it written in the legislation which allowed you to carry on with further viewings after an offer is accepted? This is unethical and wrong practice to string along an offer and carry on with further viewings until you receive a better offer. Property was off the market with STC which means no further viewings were permitted. I am taking my complaint to redressal as I have no intentions to let go of it.

Truly terrible estate agents.

Truly terrible estate agents. For the past five days both my husband and I have contacted them repeatedly to ask for a home report for a property they're advertising for sale with no response. Recorded voicemail when you call does not return the messages left, and gives an office number to call if "urgent" but that number loops you back to the same voicemail. Nick, you suck at your job. The chat bot they have takes your request and doesn't get back to you. The number to dial via Rightmove gets you nowhere either. Honestly, if I was selling through them I'd be incredibly unhappy. Truly awful company offering no service to buyers.
