I and my wife viewed a rental property listed on Chancellors, Maidenhead and the viewing was handled by Scott Haigh. We were quite impressed by both the property and Scott's professionalism. He was very polite and was happy to answer all our questions. We were not rushed through the viewing and that was a very important to us. I would like to thank Scott for making the house hunt journey less cumbersome for us.

I was looking at properties in Maidenhead since April and had my fair share of estate agents to deal with. When my mother originally found the property to view I met with Scott at the property, Scott was very informative and helpful with communication about the property and the next steps. All staff at Chancellor’s made my journey into finding the right property easier with their very friendly welcoming approach and have by far been the best Estate agents to of gone with. Maurice,Scott and Heather Thank you for your communications through out what has been a very stressful process. I would recommend to other people looking to find an estate agents.

Chancellors were very effective at getting viewings, organised some great photos and held a couple of well attended open days. They were good at accompanying viewers and provided good feedback after viewings. Their communication was generally good but the App needs work if it is to become the main communication tool (which would be preferable to the mix of app, email, text and phone calls which got difficult). So an overall good experience constrained a bit by technology and the proliferation of communication tools used.

We’ve had a really great experience with Chancellors - we met with Portia Hester and worked with Emma Benwell who were both amazing - Emma followed up with constant and clear communication throughout, really friendly and answered all the questions we had and made sure we had everything we needed. The frustrating experience of dealing…

The frustrating experience of dealing with a tenant who hadn’t paid rent for 4 months and an accounting team who hadn’t chased the debt, contacted the guarantor or provided an account statement during the period. I was most frustrated when calling the area office. However, Rebecca answered my call and listened to my issues, heard my frustration and took the time to agree a course of action. Not only did she accurately outline the situation, advise what steps she would take to gather the information and committed to contacting me with updates. To be called back with an update was most refreshing and unusual having previously left more than 5 messages for a manager and not receiving a call back.

From my first conversation with Shannon, I found her manner incredibly friendly and polite. Upon meeting her in person, I was struck by how genuinely lovely she is, friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly well-regarded by the gentleman whose property we were viewing. It was heartwarming to see the mutual respect between them. I returned for a second viewing with my mum, who isn’t so mobile these days, and it was immediately clear that she, too, took to Shannon straight away.
