I've been using Carter Jonas for the last 6 years to help manage my UK property since moving to the US, and their service has always been excellent. In particular though I have to call our Lauren who has been my property manager in Winchester for the last year. In this time I have been extremely impressed with the both the speed and attention to detail with her ability to deal with complex issues, which really puts my mind at ease when needing to deal with a property thousands of miles away. Good luck getting anything back from deposit.

Agency staff themselves polite. Company policy to use unpleasant tactics to take money. Any unreasonable excuse to keep deposit. They demand a cleaning company be used at end of tenancy -tenant has to pay. My flat was well looked after and left in good condition. They took another £100 off deposit, claiming leaves needed sweeping out of the back garden. The trees had needed trimming in the garden, property inspector advised they do this, it was never done. When I moved in, the place was not clean. Living room blind filthy, covered in squashed insects, bathroom light-pull was black with dirt, landlords refused to replace/clean either. Never had this experience with any other agency, always had deposit repaid before.
