Lovely professional estate agents in Hampton Hill

Chase Buchanan handled the sale of my mum's cottage in Hampton Hill over the summer. I’d moved out of the area years ago, so had no local market knowledge, hadn’t sold a house in years, so didn’t really know how to start! Anna Masters filled in all those gaps by providing valuable market insight, helping me weigh up the pros and cons of selling v renting it out and gave tips on the right time and way to market it. I was never made to feel like I was taking up too much of her time. Another bonus of using Chase Buchanan was their lettings side were able to put me in touch with handypersons who did a couple of small jobs on the house prior to marketing it, at much more reasonable rates than I'd managed to find independently.From there, Adele Basma arranged viewings and handled the sale. It's quite a unique property with communal access around the garden, which wouldn't be suitable for everyone, but I had an offer within two to three weeks. Throughout the whole process, Adele was absolutely great. Proactive, knowledgeable, very responsive and great at providing a reassuring feeling everything would be okay. She was a great conduit between the two sets of solicitors ensuring everyone was kept up to date throughout.Sometimes estate agents have a bit of a bad rep but I felt like I was working with genuinely lovely people who had both mine and the buyer’s best interests at heart. They clearly know and understand the local area and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Selling can be a stressful time and they really did a great job of making it as pain free as possible.

Would use again

We used Chase Buchanan to sell our flat in East Twickenham and would choose them again. We commenced their services in April, had an offer by June, and completed in September. We chose CB over several well-known competitors and are happy we made the right choice. I found dealing them to be relaxed and far less pushy than some competitors (and a more reasonable commission to boot).Alessandro took over our listing in late April and worked hard and ultimately found some committed buyers who were great to deal with, leading to a smooth sale. Horrible experience - Lot of miscommunication

Had a horrible experience with chase buchanan property management team. The staff behaviour was good during check in and throughout the stay of 2 years at the property. But things changed as soon as we asked them to serve the notice. There was a lot of miscommunications from the agent involved which resulted us paying extra month’s rent and bills. There were multiple occasions when the agent has reneged on the initial agreements.From my experience I can say they don’t act professionally when you are leaving and are more concerned in looking for a replacement tenant.

Beware Landlords: Chase Buchanan Refuse to release tenant IDs to Landlord

Chase Buchanan recently purchase Fidelis in Bath. An estate agent I used back since 2015 with great pleasure.Fidelis was well run, with excellent staff.Recently they have been taken over by Chase Buchanan of the Campions group.I used their let only service recently to relet my property, and have been astounded by their incompetence.It is frankly dangerous to landlords.Chase Buchanan have to the date of this review not provided IDs for the tenants they have moved into my property, nor the inventory.This makes it impossible for me to:1. claim against any future damage as it cannot be demonstrated2. claim against any person as they cannot be identified.Furthermore, I cannot now demonstrate the tenants have right to rent in the UK as Chase Buchanan are refusing to provide documents from the tenants that identify them.This was after taking 3 months to relet the central bath property.I urge fellow landlords to look elsewhere following this merger.
