GoogleWe purchased our house through Allen and Harris and recently we have been using the Calne branch as our letting agent. Having experienced both the sales and lettings team, we can't praise them enough. Always professional, helpful and friendly. Hannah and Milly in lettings go above and beyond to solve any queries and problems we've had. We would highly recommend this estate agent.

We previously used Allen and Harris to market our property and had a terrible experience. Today, we arranged to view a property marketed by them. I had reminder text messages confirming the viewing and when I arrived the owner said he accepted an offer 4 days ago and he was told Allen and Harris would inform anyone who had arranged to view - which they did not. Total waste of time and confirms my views.

Every time I called she was really keen to get to the bottom of what was going on and she even gave us an early viewing before others got chance! (We were In the area from Derbyshire viewing houses) 100% would recommend

GoogleHannah and Jess at Allen and Harris Lettings Dept gave me first class service while helping me to rent out my house. They were extremely friendly and helpful and found me some really good tenants after I'd been trying and failing to do do myself online. The process is straightforward and simple and they always answered my ( sometimes stupid) questions and were very patient if I didn't understand anything. I would thoroughly recommend Allen and Harris in Calne if you need your property rented.

We used Allan and Harris’ mortgage advisor service. The lovely Alanna Docherty helped us with honestly everything for buying our new house. She was amazing we could not fault her. She really went above and beyond and as for many people, all the things that come with buying the house can be very confusing but Alana explained everything so well and just made the whole process stress free to be honest. She always answered any messages or query’s quick and was always so friendly and polite. Her knowledge is great as well. We are so happy with the service provided and cannot recommend Alana enough. If you are looking for a mortgage advisor she is the one, we will be using her again for future housing things. Thanks so so much again Alana 😊

GoogleJames,Faye,Jess,Hannah and all the staff at Allen & Harris Calne, were all really friendly and very efficient,but it goes without saying with the frustrating Conveyancing and long delay's with the purchase,without Sam Brazell - Calne, at the helm,spinning plates and multi tasking on virtually a daily basis with both Solicitors,Leaseholder,Management Companies and their Lawyers and Representatives also,we would have pulled out of the sale,months ago for sure.Communication was key. Sam, thank you for getting this over the line after x6 months for Mia and Bayley. You were superbly dedicated and reliable on updates and eventual results. 11/10 :)

GoogleWas a pleasure dealing with Allen and Harris Letting Agents. Ellouise was very proactive in helping us to find a great property that perfectly matched our requirements. In what was quite a stressful situation, Ellouise was upbeat and encouraging and made the process seem very straight forward and less daunting. Communication with both Ellouise and Hannah was spot on - they kept us informed - both were so friendly and approacable and Hannah clearly explained the next stages in the process. Totally professional service and we can't thank them enough.

GoogleI have recently begun renting a 3 bed property through Allen and Harris. We have dealt with Hannah throughout the whole process, from arranging the viewing to signing the contracts - she has been brilliant! As we moved from London, we weren't able to view the property in person, and after being let down by a different agent, she arranged for us to do an online viewing within a very short time frame. She has been quick to get back to me with any queries, is very friendly to speak to on the phone, and thanks to her the whole process of going through the tenancy checks and signing contracts has been very efficient. The service we have received from Allen and Harris has been great and we would definitely recommend them!

They assured me it was a good tenant. When I received the referencing it turned out she wasn't earning enough to pay the rent, had lied about her job and salary, had seven addresses in eight years. I only learned this three days before she was supposed to move in. I stopped the deal and decided to sell. Allen and Harris still want their fee. The demand is £300 more than on the contract. Total incompetence.

PAISLEY OFFICE What went wrong well everything did what I was promised never happened first time buyers didn't have a mortgage in place which I was told wouldn't happen!!!! The mortgage wasn't approved and they didn't have the decency to inform us unbelievable then because of the delay I had to fork out for another home report which had to be a special way never heard of it and the company they got gave it to another surveyor who weren't approved I mean you couldn't write this!!! Then another surveyor sent and he said he would have it sent the next day 23/9/25 and today 25/9/25 no call I've been in bed very ill all week and this helped to contributed it once again I had to call them to find it was done on Tuesday 😡I mean what does it take to inform your client you charge enough for no communication shocking I have sold more houses whilst they were children and never ever had anything like this happened before and always was kept in the loop so all in all I'm really disgusted with the service and would never use them again

So poor experience with them. Before peyment was taken, the Sequence Brooker was ringing every day. After payment made, totally change atitute. Lack of communication, no reply, ignoring, waiting forever. Because not receiving support from broker I made bad mistake pull out from property I was hoping to buy. Always been worrying when problem because this broker is not with you when really need.They change big amount of money for lifetime service. But no service after payment.

I used Allen and Harris to purchase a house and Connor Sherman was my estate agent. He was so friendly and helpful. Kept me updated throughout the whole process and would chase up any enquiries that I had immediately.Also, Liam Tresillian, the mortgage broker at Allen and Harris, was extremely helpful and found me the best mortgage deal. I highly recommend using Allen and Harris.

That’s is me again. After a very stressful negotiation with this company we decided to continue in the purchase of the apartment and couldn’t be worst. After a lack of information in the home report that builds with more than 4 floors bead to have lift by new regulations and just a few lenders accept to mortgage apartments in 5 floors without lift we got one. Lender tried 3 times to organise the service but Alen and Harris have not organised the appointment so they came to us telling the seller will put apartment back to market. Terrible service,terrible organisation, terrible customer service. Maybe now they will sell to their friend.
