A personable and friendly service whilst professional and knowledgeable at the same time. As a vendor, I would love for Tom to sell my house and as a buyer, you feel in very safe hands. GoogleHighly recommended. Some say that Estate Agents now do little to earn their commission. This was not true about Joe, who proactively marketed our late father’s house and rapidly found suitable buyers. He was understanding and helpful with the delays due to difficulties in obtaining probate. He willingly provided help by attending in person to let people into the house when we were not able to be there and making sure that in was secure.

Informed us that the property we were moving out of had been re-let. We then rushed to clear and deep clean the property. Rang several times on the day with no answer to then be told any day before Thursday would be ok. We were then informed by another call 10 minutes later that the property had infact not been re-let. Severe lack of communication therefore making us pay another month rent & bills.

My partner and I were first-time buyers and engaged with Gascoigne a few months ago.I don't know if it was because we were first timers, or if it was just the influence of a poor seller, but we were gazumped and the total lack of professionalism and a pure run around followed. Their team there have left a bitter taste in my mouth and given me a poor view of them.If you're first-time buyers I cannot recommend engaging with the Glossop branch at the very least least.Buying with a nearby competitor we found the experience was far better, with more updates, better information, and an increased amount of respect.

We've just bought a property through Gascoigne Halman and they have been super helpful and communicative throughout the whole process. Tracy Ryan in the Frodsham office has been lovely and always responded to our queries (however bizarre! We have asked a lot of questions haha!) promptly and happily! We never felt like we were too much trouble. Thanks to everyone at Frodsham Gascoigne Halman!

GoogleSome time ago I asked this lot to sell a house for me. A few people were interested and I chose what GH called a 'cash buyer.' She wasn't, she appeared to be a mate of somebody at GH. They were in touch with me regularly while the mortgage was sorted but only ever in support of the buyer. They let her and a dodgy gas boiler person into the house in order to condemn the boiler and knock me down £3000. I had it uncondemned. Don't give them your keys, in fact don't employ them.NegativeQuality

We recently sold and bought a house using the Frodsham office. We met with 3 local estate agents before deciding who to use and we chose Gascgoine Halman Frodsham as they had the most local knowledge and were the easiest branch to get in touch with.As is often the case, the whole house move process was quite lengthy and frustrating. But Tracy in particular helped us out with advice, chasing up solicitors and helping to keep on top of the process. I don’t plan on moving again anytime soon, but if I did I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again.

GoogleTalked to the sales team already but they seemed less than interested. Lets save each other time and stick if a property is leasehold or freehold into the property information on rightmove like seemigly every other company. We were told Its in the description, the listing doesn't have 'lease' anywhere on it Its in the brochure, the brochure isn't on rightmove Its not our policy to show it Save us time either calling or routing through your website where the only place its mentioned is on the brocure.

GoogleI have used lots of estate agents in the past and have lots of bad experiences. But Gascoigne Halman are above the rest and it’s down to their people at their Wilmslow branch. They do everything they can to make the experience smooth and less stressful. A particular mention to Charlotte who is new to the branch but works so hard to ensure everything is done the right way.

To be fair to the Wilmslow office they did everything they said they would do. From an initial market appraisal through to completion the system worked excellently. Peter Higham took on our instruction and was spot on with his advice , James Poppock then ran our sale and was in touch throughout and was polite and efficient and upto speed throughout. The team were all aware with what was going on and and communication was excellent. All sounds a bit cheesy ,but its true. Thank you .

We looked at several properties through them and found them to be extremely efficient and friendly on all areas of the customer journey. We were particularly impressed with Lucy the agent handling our purchase. She was knowledgable, efficient, friendly, and very responsive. We would would definitely recommend them!
