GoogleI stumbled upon Roman City Property when looking for a new letting agency. I needed a company who would look after my property and keep me up to date with every process of the letting and someone who would have my property and interest at heart. Fortunately upon entering I met Paula Book, who has worked with Roman City Property for some 20 years now. She is a knowledgeable, enthusiastic and a personable person who has a great deal of experience in the letting of properties, would give advice and also listen to what your needs were. I met the owner and many of the staff and within 24 hours I had made the decision that Paula Book and Roman City Property were the right people to manage the property. It’s early days but I feel sure that with Paula the property is in safe hands, she has done an amazing job at the organising and letting of the property, finding the perfect tenants and keeping me informed at every step of the way. She may not be Superwoman but she’s doing a pretty dam good job at it. 😊

GoogleInitially great and fast and getting you in the building then woefully inadequate after the fact. We moved into a disgusting house infested with flies and black mold in the walls and curtains. It took a private cleaner the agency six hours before it was “liveable”. Fast forward a couple of weeks later. During “an inspection” one of the Roman City ladies said about the curtains and walls which would be replaced and cleaned respectively by the landlord. In a year of living there, and multiple follow up calls, emails and in person visits, this never happened. It made for a frustrating and unpleasant tenancy and for these reasons I cannot recommend renting a property with Roman City.

They manage the rental of the property, the vetting of tenants, arrange maintenance and respond to queries/emergencies from our tenants in a prompt and professional manner. They also perform regular inspections and supervise the change of tenants when required. GoogleI had two years of tenancy under the care of Roman city. As students we hear horror stories of horrible landlords leaving the properties in ruin and blaming the students for it. Despite managing over 400 properties in Bath, not a single maintenance request was ever ignored and they were always followed up on. I was the lead tenant for the second tenancy so was in charge with this and thankfully I always had Kayla as a direct line of support whenever issues arose. Seemingly she was always around to sort anything out ASAP and so I can highly commend her and Roman city's commitment to delivering a great renting experience for my time at university. Thank you!

GoogleContacted Roman City over a one bed flat for the next academic year. Chloe very quickly gave me a few options and sorted a viewing within days. After only a week or so, I have managed to secure a place for next year. Very fast, very helpful (especially Chloe 😀) would reccomend for students.
