During the purchase of our student HMO, even before we had signed up for their services, Chloe at Roman City was so helpful with the many questions we had about the details of student letting. They have continued with this friendly, supportive and responsive approach during our first year of letting. I would (and have!) highly recommend Roman City to landlords and students alike, for a very professional and reassuring service.

GoogleWould not recommend if you're a student as they stole 2 weeks of our rent and the agent was then magically unavailable (make sure you always speak to them in writing!!) A lot of reviews you see here being 5 stars is when at the end of the application process they ask you to review them and usually, during that time, they are actually nice.

GoogleAn outstanding lettings company. I've been dealing with Kayla and the team for just over two years. Kayla is an absolute super star. She has gone out of her way to help me navigate through challenging situations as a novice landlord. Her service has been nothing but exceptional and she has been instrumental in helping me purchase my next investment property by giving me great advice and being so responsive to my never ending property questions. Recently Sam has joined and has taken what is an already excellent team to the next level. He is the definition of proactive. Very responsive and managed to let my property in under 7 days. This is a new world record for me. Most important of all : They genuinely have the students interests at heart. If something is not right with your property they will let you know. This is key because as a land lord, you need to make the necessary changes to adapt to the needs of your tenants. Kayla was incredibly helpful, responding quickly to emails and going out of her way to find us properties which fit our budget. She was always very honest, providing her opinions and giving details on current tenants and any issues the property had had, which is so valuable for young students. Great service!

GoogleVery efficient and helpful service provided. The two agents that I was always in contact with were Michelle and Chloe and I honestly couldn't ask for anyone better. They were understanding and always willing to help, and for a student renting first time, they could not have made it any easier. I have decided to rent from RC again for my final year house due to the amazing service provided in the past. I was put in touch with Paula who is superb, she was very friendly, polite and helpful. Everything was explained clearly, which made the process of sorting and signing the contract very simple and smooth. Definitely recommend!

GoogleKayla Palethorpe from Roman City has been an excellent first point of contact throughout my year tenancy in Bath. There were some issues with the house across the year but Kalya was super helpful in solving them and always gave great communication and updates. I would fully recommend this Letting Agent, especially in comparison to my former Letting Agent Zest who were generally slow and unhelpful.

GoogleAvoid This Letting Agency, Zero Support for Tenants I would strongly advise against renting through Roman City. They have provided absolutely no support in dealing with the severe anti-social behavior and harassment I’ve experienced from my neighbors. Despite repeated reports and even involvement from the police and council, Roman City has refused to take any responsibility or assist in resolving the situation. They advertised the property but are not managing it, which they use as an excuse to do nothing, even though they facilitated the tenancy. Their lack of accountability and unwillingness to advocate for tenants in distress is appalling. If you’re looking for a letting agency and landlords that actually cares about its tenants’ well-being, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
