GoogleCooke & Co just helped me sell my mother's flat. I expected it would take some time but they advised me to have it decorated (which they arranged), found 3 potential buyers quickly and got a price much higher than I expected. They helped throughout the sale process and the system they have means that no matter who you speak to (all friendly and helpful) they will know the status of the sale. First class!

From the outset, when Mike Storer called to conduct the original valuation, everyone in the business, Emma, Claire, Nicola, Helen, Julie, to name but a few, were highly professional, helpful, compassionate, respectful and friendly at all times. I was particularly pleased with the way I was kept informed of all developments as they happened throughout the sale process. Cooke & Co. completed the sale process with great efficiency and little fuss. I would certainly highly recommend this agent.

YellREAL BAD.
Viewed a property with Nigel Cooke on a Monday, and put an offer in of £2k over the asking price. Nigel called me the next morning to say he had talked through with the vendor and if we were to up the offer by £1,000 the offer would be accepted. We did that and the offer was accepted, I happily went off to arrange the mortgage and gather paperwork, as directed by Cooke & Co. We signed up to their recommendation for conveyancing and solicitor too. All good. The next day I get a call from Claire to tell us that 'the vendor has accepted another offer from another buyer'. Alarm bells ringing now. 'How can this happen Claire? You told me yesterday they had accepted my offer, and the property was taken off the market.' 'Well Mr Robson, we acted in your best interest. Sorry Claire, how is selling the property to another person in my best interest when you told me my offer was accepted yesterday? Well Mr Robson, this can happen all they way up to exchange.' Just be honest.

We viewed a lot of properties across several areas of Newcastle, Gateshead and North Tyneside and dealt with many different Estate Agents during this time. In our opinion Cooke & Co were by far the most helpful and professional team. We put offers in on two properties with Cooke & Co and both times we were impressed with the communication from the agents. We subsequently completed a purchase through this agent, and again found this to be a positive experience.

FacebookUnfortunately the experience of this estate agents is poor. Today we had prearranged to view a property in Shiremoor. We duly turned up at the appointed time only to be told by the current owner that they've accepted a bid this very day. Which is all good and well buy for the slight problem of not being informed by the estate agent that this had been done. Having dealt with agents in the in both capacity of selling and buying property we were always kept up to date on anything that happened as with today's incident. We phone the agents to find out why this has happened without any call to update us only to be palmed off with some lame excuse and say the person was out when clearly it was the person we dealt with at the start. You would think in today's society that a businesses would be more diligent in dealing with prospective customers that to just do that. Surley courtesy and politeness is the hallmark of any company and not to be dumped once you've got your commission. This is bad and does not bode well as company to me and that of my friends that will be sharing this. All you have needed to do was phone up tell us of the situation and that would be that. But no!!.

Helen was very professional and fair to me and the buyer . She always kept me informed of developments . All of the staff were very helpful . As I lived in another part of the country to the location of the property I was unable to visit very often and someone from Cooke and Co called in on a regular basis to make sure everything was okay. I was always kept up to date about viewings and comments. I would recommend Cooke and Co to anyone wishing to sell their property.

having just sold & bought properties using cooke &co i have to say how pleased my husband & i are with the service we have recieved, we have no complaints about any of the staff we came in contact with. Special mention for Helen, without her help & advice our purchase would have been ten times more stressful - especially helpful dealing with our stroppy solicitor! whenever i contacted Helen she was prompt, polite & most important of all totally professional, i felt she went out of her way to help us, however, when i thanked her for this she said "that's my job, this is the service you are paying for", this was our second time selling, & third time buying a property with cooke & co, personally i wouldn't use any other agent

Nikki from Cooke & Co took time to ask us about our requirements and has shown us some 1st class properties. The emails I receive are clear and to the point and every property I have visited have been to our requirements. I used Cooke & Co when I sold my property recently. The service was second to none. It's really refreshing to meet somebody who is friendly and professional at the same time. I felt like Nigel was with me every step of the way. It's a shame I no longer live in the area because I would have no problem selling my house with Nigel again. A first class service from someone local who is with you every step of the way, you can't ask much more really.

I recently sold my home through Cooke & Co and I was really impressed. From valuation, right up to the day I moved, they were always helpful and understanding as this was the first time I had moved in a long time. Their valuation was spot on and a buyer was found very quickly. The whole process went through so smoothly I hardly had time to worry. They called me regularly with updates and whenever I was unsure about something they were always happy and able to help. I can not recommend them enough. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the sale and were always in control which made me feel much more confident about the whole process.

GoogleI was a buyer using their services so perhaps I would not have expected the service I received given I was not paying them. Quite the opposite! There were several occasions I needed to ring Cooke and Co about the purchase, I was answered promptly and efficiently. If they had to check on something they always rang me back very quickly. I can thoroughly recommend Cooke and Co.

From first contact to after completion I was always communicated with. I wanted to get my property on the market quickly and they achieved it.
