GoogleTerrible service!! staff were patronising and happy to let paying tenants live in unhealthy, mouldy conditions. We were advised this was due to our 'living habits', despite many tenants in the building experiencing the same issue, and the flat having no ventilation and very old, inadequate, heating. Staff suggested we keep the windows open (all day, in the middle of winter, whilst working from home) to prevent condensation. When a formal complaint was raised, the person who dealt with the complaint was one of the staff we were complaining about, and many of the points raised (for example our clothes and brand new furniture being damaged by the mould) were ignored.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

Dear Dan. I’m sorry you feel this way about us. A reminder for you and anyone reading this, you signed off your email with a middle finger emoji. We feel this is somewhat rude. For the wider public, I think it’s worthy of some context. Dan wanted to view a property with us but our client only wants clients who can proceed immediately. Dan is not in that position and therefore we were unable to accommodate. We cannot go against our vendors instructions. For transparency, please see our response to Dan below. * Our response * Dear Dan, the owner has given us instructions that he only wants people to view the property if they can proceed, for example, in rented accommodation, cash buyer or selling a property that has accepted an offer. I understand this will be frustrating but we can’t go against our clients instructions. The vendor would sell to you but he wouldn’t accept an offer and take it off the market and wait for you to sell yours. In this instance, you would have to market your property and accept an offer before you could view. I hope this helps explain the instructions we are under. Dan, we are comfortable with the way this has been handled and our previous reviews support the service we deliver. I am sorry you feel this way and we wish you well with your search for a new home. GoogleBeen desperately looking for a house recently and had a number of viewings. We found a house that was under this company that looked really promising and in a perfect location. After booking a viewing for the property we had seen that the property was listed as let agreed online, so I rang up to confirm if it was taken or not. They assured me that the property was not taken and to continue with our viewing. We then took time out of work to show for the viewing and no one was there. I rang them up and they informed us that the house had been taken and we should have received an email. We DID NOT receive one call or an email letting us know the viewing was cancelled. Terrible communication for such a small company, disappointed with the way they handle this situation.

GoogleTerrible experience. Very serious damp and leaking roof had been temporarily painted over for flat viewings which became apparent within the first few weeks of our tenancy. During the following 7 months they refused to do anything about this. By the end of our tenancy this issue was a category 1 health risk and the flat wasn't fit for habitation - they refused to acknowledge this. Upon leaving the flat, we cleaned thoroughly, filled holes, painted and left it in as good condition as it could be - they delayed with repaying the deposit and had the cheek to deduct nearly 20% for what I would consider to be wear and tear, even worse considering they did nothing to address the leaking roof in the 7 months we lived there. We decided to cut our losses so we can put our terrible experience with this letting agent behind us. Avoid.

GoogleAbsolutely awful estate agents to deal with. I rented from them and nothing was ever done when stuff went wrong it took forever and on some occasions work never completed. I would never ever use them again. You pay a lot of money for rent to live in a nice area but the up keep and maintenance is never completed but they still want there money each month.

GoogleThe best estate agents I have used by far. I have been buying and selling houses for most of my adult life, and Thomas H Wood are miles ahead of most Cardiff agents. As they are a small unit they really do care. The service, the photos, the feedback straight after viewings and the whole process was absolutely pain free. Highly Recommended.
