From start to finish, our experience with Thomas H Wood was outstanding. We were both selling our old house and buying our new one at the same time, and having the same team handle both sides of the process made everything incredibly easy to manage. Our first interactions with Simon filled us with confidence based on his knowledge of the market and the house we were intending to buy, and that feeling never left. The entire team, especially Holly, made what can be a very stressful process feel well-managed and under control. Holly was an absolute star, she kept us informed at every single step and was constantly fighting our corner, chasing down every detail of our sale. The marketing materials were superb, and every viewing was handled with professionalism and care. They truly went above and beyond, providing amazing support, especially through some of the more complex legal hurdles towards the end! It was a genuine pleasure to have their assistance, and we couldn't recommend them highly enough to anyone looking to move.

Excellent service from start to finish. I have bought and sold several properties over the years, and would consider Thomas H Wood to have provided the best agency service that I have experienced. All staff I spoke to were highly professional and communication was first class. A special shout out to Annamarie who was really helpful acting as the go between between us the buyer. We were provided with regular timely updates, and solicitors were chased when the need arose. As we were not local Annamarie also displayed a 'can do" attitude to overcome any challenges or requests from the buyers. I have no hesitation in recommending Thomas H Wood, based on my experience.

I sold my house with Thomas H Wood in September last year. They were fantastic throughout, in particular when my buyer dropped out, they were able to find me a new buyer within about 24 hours. Annamarie was very friendly and great at keeping me updated throughout the process too. A special mention too for Simon, he is so knowledgeable about houses in the area that I was looking at buying. It seems like he knows the history and details of almost all houses in Whitchurch! He was also very patient when I asked him for advice about properties I was interested in and helping me find what I was looking for.

I had rented through Thomas H Wood for 10 years prior to buying a house through them. The rental team were always so super lovely, always responsive and respectful. When it came to buying a house post Covid the housing market was at an all time high. Viewings alone we’re a battle with other agents. Thomas H Wood, we’re amazingly calm as if the world hadn’t gone mad. Simon was patient and honest showing us around which gave us confidence in making a decision to put an offer in, he guided us through the process and the team were super happy for us when the offer was accepted. A few weeks in our buyer had pulled out but Anna- Marie on the sales progression team was AMAZING!! Calm, reassuring and the vendors stuck with us whilst we found another buyer. Anna- Marie really helped push things along for us to complete, chasing daily, reassuring us and their vendor resulting in complete confidence and peace of mind. Sadly, we had to sell our mother's home following her death and, after considering a few estate agents, we opted for Thomas H Wood to market the property because they gave a realistic valuation that was what we predicted after checking what other properties in the area had sold for. Within a few days there were a number of enquiries and eventually, within a week, we were pleased to accept a good offer. Once this was done the staff were brilliant, particularly Annemarie and Karen (along with Simon and Paul) in ensuring the sale progressed smoothly.
