Then, when there was an issue with the energy provider miscalculating the end of contract energy bill, they told me they can't do anything and to speak to the landlord.
Overall, they're really nice... until you have any issues. I feel very taken advantage of all things considered.

Firstly, it is a shame that you have commented anonymously. If you had provided your name, we would have been able to personalise our response in consideration of your specific situation.
The first point you make is that you were leaving your tenancy early and that you incurred cost to do so. This certainly needs clarification. A tenancy is a contract between you and the landlord for the stipulated term of the agreement. It is, as you will be aware, a legal document and binding on both sides. The term needs to be honoured by both parties. In leaving your tenancy early, it would have had to have been with the permission of the landlord otherwise the obligations of the tenancy would have remained for the duration of that term. We are assuming therefore that your landlord agreed to terminate your tenancy on the basis that you paid the landlord’s costs to remarket the property. In return, the landlord agreed to release you from the obligations of your tenancy. This would appear a fair gesture of goodwill by your landlord. It would probably have been a lot more costly to have had to pay the rent for the duration of your tenancy, again without knowing your tenancy details it is difficult to determine the saving you would made by covering the landlord’s costs to remarket the property. By way of example, a fixed term tenancy ending in say, February 2022, would have incurred monthly rental payments far more than £500. Further, we are assuming that you had agreed to the landlord’s offer in the first instance as otherwise the early surrender of tenancy would not have taken place. We are further assuming that to have reached this point of agreement we as agents would have liaised with your landlord on your behalf to reach a mutually agreeable solution.
Regarding your comments relating to the energy provider, any energy provided to a property is resultant from a contract between the tenant and provider. It is for you and your provider therefore to resolve any matter outstanding and not a third party with whom the provider has no contract.
Noting your concluding comments, your overall experience with our agency appears to have been good. It is therefore a pity that you feel that we, as agents, were responsible for the incidents that you have highlighted.
