Very positive experience with Fox and Sons Crewkerne

We couldn't be happier with the service we have received from Leon Gullis of Fox and Sons Crewkerne over the past week. From the outset of our viewing he was friendly, professional and informative, highlighting features of the property and useful information about the locality and town. He gave us space and time to really look around and we never felt rushed. We made an offer that day and in the subsequent six days, whilst viewings were still ongoing, he kept us in touch with the progress of our offer. After our offer was accepted Leon was extremely helpful with all the initial processes including recommending conveyancing solicitors and offering to arrange a survey and searches. He has been delightful to deal with so far and we've no doubt he will do all he can to ensure our journey to completion goes smoothly. We would have no hesitation in giving Leon 10 out of 10! We would give 11 if we could!

I have recently had the pleasure of dealing with Fox and Sons Peacehaven branch and if I could give them more than 5 stars I would.This is the first time that I have had to sell and buy a home in 20 years. I'm a single mum to 3 children under 10 so time and working to my schedule was so important to me.At the start of the process I felt completely out of my depth and had no idea where to start but they made me feel at ease straight away.The whole team at the branch have just been incredible. The process has been fast, efficient, smooth and professional. I have been kept updated at all times and everyone has been so approachable and nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble, even when I took my 3 children on a viewing.The service was so good that I even used their mortgage advisor, Jonathan, and the service provided has been incredible.I would particularly like to thank Tom and Alice for their patience and understanding especially with the amount of questions that I had. They always got back to me quickly with the answers and explained things in terms that I understood.Thank all for the work you have done for me. Fox and Sons Southampton

I am very disappointed in the service that my husband and I received from Fox and Sons Southampton.Firstly we dealt with multiple people when it came to property offers and viewings when we expected to have 1 person handling our property.We were supposed to be dealing with Chloe but then ended up dealing with multiple people which was confusing.Secondly the unprofessionalism with the agents. Emma from the Southampton branch left a voicemail which was meant for a potential buyer to my husbands phone. It did not sound professional at all!There was lack of communication from fox and sons Southampton. We had to keep chasing them to ask them what was going on with the offer that we had received. Only to be told after a few days the person that put the offer in dropped out and chose another property.We took our property off the market and a few days later got a call to say someone has put an offer on our property. We asked if the potential buyer can go any higher and we still have not heard back. It has been 3 DAYS!!!! If someone is so keen (like you said over the phone) to purchase our home, why are we waiting 3 days with no response? You were supposed to make this process smooth and easy and yet this experience has been really horrible and had left us feeling drained, very disappointed and deceived. Fox and sons please remove our details from your system and don’t ever contact us again.

Superb- So glad we chose Fox & Sons they certainly deliver. We met Dan Beaumont the branch manager on Tuesday - by the following Friday after a considerable number of viewings and offers we were able to accept an offer. Dan's energy, organisation , commitment, strategy and knowledge of the local market was superb - especially as we were coming out of a "lockdown" and life was were complicated by that. Libby and Sam were also lovely to deal with, upbeat, friendly and super helpful. We were not planning on using a "high street chain" - but through all of our dealings with the team it felt like we were working with a small local company. Throughout the process communication was excellent via phone or email, this again was very much appreciated with COVID restrictions. If you are looking to sell, and there is plenty of competition with other agents give Dan and the team a go. Its always going to be a bit of a journey but it is reassuring to be guided through any bumps along the way with this team. We would whole heartedly recommend using Fox and Sons Weymouth - no pressure, efficient, personable, organised, professional agents - it was a pleasure to have them sell our home.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Avoid F&S conveyancing

Do not use Fox & Sons in house conveyancing firm. I’m not a Fox & Sons customer but our buyer is (as that is their agent) and they’ve held up our chain for months. We agreed a sale in October 2024, it was discovered in January 2025 that our buyer needed an amendment to their lease on their leasehold property before they could sell it (a deed of variation) three months later to today, only now has the Fox & Sons conveyancing firm read the leases properly and determined what they need to do and there is still no end in sight. All in our chain has needlessly been put to extra stamp duty cost, the cost of arranging a new mortgage offer because previous ones have expired, we’ve had houses in the chain being re marketed, causing further stress. Our solicitor told me today that they have three chains including ours that are all stuck and going nowhere due to a deed of variation, and guess what, every one of those chains has the same Fox & Sons conveyancing firm handling the deed of variation. They clearly don’t know what they’re doing and I would suggest unless you want to waste your money on delays, and be stressed beyond belief, do not use Fox & Sons in house conveyancing. I don’t normally post reviews, if I get bad service, I simply don’t go back. However, on this occasion, I’m getting bad service that is costing me and others in our chain more money, and there is nothing I can do about it.

Fox and Sons weren’t my originally estate agents, but I’m so pleased that I asked them to help me after a run of bad luck with my original agent!The service that I received from Morgan & Annie at the Saltash Branch has been nothing but exemplary.Morgan offers help and advise all the way along the process, that in itself takes a huge pressure off knowing your in such capable hands. I was extremely happy with the service I received from Millie Howden at Fox and Sons in Amesbury. The valuing of the house was arranged at short notice owing to my personal time restrictions. From the offset Millie was both professional and friendly throughout. She clearly explained everything regarding selling and answered my questions. I had a great experience with Fox and sons (Hove Church road) they were professional and extremely helpful. Every time I have a question or was unsure about anything they were very quick to get back via email. I would recommend fox’s and sons especially as new buyers and not knowing a lot about what needed to be done and when they helped through the whole process. I used Jamie Elvin the in house mortgage adviser who was also brilliant and really easy to work with, and Keira Jarvis was also amazing and really persistent in pushing through our sale.
