GoogleWe used this estate agent for the sale of my mothers property The manager Dan Beaumont undertook the sale personally and we can only say WOW! not what you think about estate agents, he sold the property within a week getting a very good price, he always kept in touch and even when not available his colleague Libby was always well informed of where we were in the sale and Dan always promptly return all our calls on his return. GoogleI have recently sold and bought a house through fox and sons Weymouth. Dan was my estate agent, he at all times was efficient, professional, trustworthy, honest and completely committed. I can’t speak highly enough, the sale of my house didn’t go without it’s hitches but throughout the process Dan was so helpful and supportive. I cannot thank him enough. Chris Philbrick was my mortgage advisor and he was amazing in finding me and my partner the best mortgage at the best rates, he also helped to sort out living wills and insurance. I cannot recommend Daniel the mortgage advisor enough!! He has helped us so so SO much over the past few months with our everchanging situation and he always supported us in the kindest, most knowledgeable and understanding ways. His advice was so invaluable and he was always quick to come back with whatever we needed. For someone who doesn't really understand all this technical mortgage stuff, he was extremely patient and good at explaining things. GoogleWe have recently bought our home through Fox and Sons, Libby and Dan were our contact agents. Our purchase you could say was not a straight forward process, however, throughout the whole journey both Dan and Libby were simply marvelous. They made themselves flexible to suit us, something we appreciated very much. Both Libby and Dan kept contact with us at all times. Our purchase was a little unusual, however they sorted any issues very quickly for us in a professional and communicative manner which took all the stress off us and meant a speedy smooth transaction. They were both there to answer any questions we had, and their friendly understanding manner gave us comfort. Nothing was too much trouble for them which meant we were comfortable ringing them any time (and we did!!!,bless them). As a result we recommend Fox and Sons very highly.

Having recently returned to the south west i was struggling to find a property in the Yeovil area due to being in a complex situation and due to the huge demand in rental properties. After being told no a million times, Fox and Sons in Yeovil got in contact, it was Leon. He took the time to understand my situation fully, and then arranged a viewing of two properties for me and after three months of being told “No, Sorry”, Leon had found me the perfect property and Landlord. I move in tomorrow, its been a long process but Leon has kept me up to date throughout and has been on the phone or on email any time i have needed to ask a question or get an update, where i have spoken to other members of the team, they have been fantastic too, Leon however, has really stood out and gone above and beyond any other letting agent i have experienced over the years. Thank you Leon for picking me up, giving me hope, and getting me into a beautiful property with a fantastic landlord when you really were my last hope. You put me at ease, and restored my faith in letting agents, having been given false hope and lies over the past three months by others.

Hassle free sale of our home , sold in 4 weeks , property was on with pcm for 8 months I approached fox and sons they said they would do there best to sell in 4 weeks and they did , very happy with the service , I was congratulated immediately once I accepted an offer , very close to asking price I must thank Callum , Alex and Charles they have been very very helpful and always replied quickly to my calls and e mails , I used fox and Sons 22 years ago to buy the house and I had great service then and I just wish I had asked them before asking pcm as the house would of been sold months ago , but today I am very happy it’s finally sold with the professional company they are Ken Press

It is such a hard decision and process, to sell your home, and the team in Worthing were very supportive. I removed my house from the market for personal reasons in the end, but I had a lot of viewings and 2 great offers.

Eastbourne Branch - I cannot recommend them enough! I used Fox and Sons in Eastbourne recently to sell my flat! They sold it within a couple of weeks which was great! We were in a long 6+ chain so the time to completion took about 5 months but throughout the process I spoke to Stephen the branch Manager almost weekly (with him calling me as much as the other way round which was great), he’d give me regular updates if he’d heard anything from the Solicitors etc and and nothing seemed too much trouble from anyone in the office! I felt the service was professional throughout but also they were very personable and a pleasure to deal with!

It wasn’t the easiest purchase, and the transaction wasn’t smooth, through no fault of theirs, and we were happy with the service we received, and finally completed 01/08/25

Fox & Sons Eastbourne dealt with the sale of my property and although it took nearly a year to go through (mainly due to Covid restrictions) they did an excellent job. Tom and Steve were awesome. They responded to every email and call from me quickly and professionally. There were numerous issues along the way and they dealt with them all, including driving around to make sure I had the keys as quickly as possible. Highly recommend these guys and would definitely use them again.

Edit: The service got even worse once we'd left. The Company left me with a number of examples where I had to contact Utility companies, because they lied about our Moving out date. I then found myself having to explain to several people that we had moved out in October 2019, not January 2020. This took several hours over many months. My credit rating was apparently affected, because I didn't know I was being left with bills that I shouldn't have. I would welcome any member of the company to contact me to discuss just how bad they were. I very rarely have the need to write a poor review of anyone, but I've never come across such an air of apathy from a company. At the start, they were very pleasant, and made a load of promises to get work done before we moved in. The house was filthy, and their representative (Mr Evans) promised my wife that a load of cleaning would be done. The garden would be tidied up, holes in the walls would be filled. The excess furniture would be removed. On arrival on the day we moved, nothing was done. My wife was extremely upset (Rancid milk ground into all the carpets downstairs, thick film of grease and filth in the kitchen, dirty toilets and bathroom. Cooker filthy and not working, Garden was a mess, Furniture that should have been removed was still there, etc etc. This was not vaguely dirty, but FILTHY) My wife contacted the Company Representative, who did nothing. When I eventually complained further up the chain, it was turned around so that it was our fault for not formally requesting that stuff be done. The flippancy of the lady that dealt with the complaint was beyond contempt. When I make a promise that is something will be done, when I'm representing my Company, I make sure it is done. This was definitely not the case with Fox And Sons. Having moved out, we now find that we are likely to lose a large portion of our Security Deposit because they are now blaming us for damage that was caused long before we had moved in. We are rather relieved to have now moved out, and even more relieved that we will never have to deal with this company again. There are many estate Agents, and Letting agents that work extremely hard for their clients. This isn't one of them. I expect my Secure Deposit to be taken from us, as it would appear that their primary objective is to take as much as they can from the market. Exactly as expected, we have been blamed for long term neglect and damage to the property that were there long before we moved in. We have photographs from the week we moved in, and will process an appeal, but I fully expect that it will be ignored. If truth be told, all we want now is to move forward and not have to deal with these people ever again. As the title says, NO STARS would be a more accurate appraisal.

Fareham branch, Rees and Grace were excellent in the selling of our flat, and our solicitors worked well with them. However our sale was let down by the clowns of a solicitor, PPL, who our buyer was using- make sure you avoid PPL as a simple sale to a first time buyer took over six months and indeed at many points in time looked like wasn't going to take place- not F&S's fault however.

Gosport BranchLettings. Poor communication unless they want extra money out of you. Last 4 months rent paid late by them ( this month nothing at all paid in!). Likely to lose property and credit score shot to pieces. Do not use this company to manage your property letting! Also they will try to charge you for renewal of tenancy which is illegal. There is every chance I will have to take them to court. Landlords please hear my warning!!

Shocking behaviour from these guys on completion day at the Seaford branch. Constant hassle about leaving the sold property minutes after we had completed on the new one. Moving is stressful enough so harassing an 8 month pregnant female to the point thay she had to call her midwife is just not acceptable. Took side of buyers and agreed that they should dump our property in the front garden or not let us collect it at all on the day. Should really have been negotiating and supporting their customer who had just paid over £4000. Please avoid at all costs.

Quite possibly the worst estate agents we have EVER dealt with. The Fox & Sons Bitterne lettings team are rude, unprofessional, incompetent and offer zero support to tenants. During a 1.5 year tenancy, I don't think we went a month without having to get another issue looked into. Communication was terrible, no courtesy phone calls/emails - you constantly had to chase to get an answer and even then they barely knew what they were doing. They lied continually in emails so always contradicted themselves, dealing with Tyler & Gary was like dealing with toddlers and it was just exhausting. It seems professionalism and customer service just isn't at the forefront of what Fox & Sons do. Avoid at all costs.

Without question Fox & Sons, specifically the Eastbourne branch headed up by Thomas Barrett, were on the ball from day one. Living in the USA and selling a house from 3500 miles away is no easy task but they were up for the challenge, effectively guiding me through every requirement. Step by step Thomas and his team checked every box, receiving an offer in the first couple of weeks. I was most impressed with the communication from their office, a key component in any business transaction, it was clear, concise and timely. They worked well with my solicitors and were able to keep everyone on task. With that being said, I can highly recommend Thomas and his team at Fox & Sons, Eastbourne
