We found this estate agent quite by chance. In April I was looking for directions to a care home. Simon asked if we were then going to sell Mums house and I said , not until next Spring. He gave me a card and told me that they had sold nine houses in Mums area just lately. Ha ha I thought! Later I saw at least seven ‘Austins, Sold’ notices near to Mums house. Simon stayed loosely in touch, and when the time was right for us we put Mums house in their hands. No! We placed ourselves in their hands! Simon and the rest of the staff were so very helpful. Their caring attitude made the whole business of emptying and selling the family home of 60 or more years so much better than we had hoped. We have several friends who have had, or are still having, the most traumatic time with other estate agents. Now, the house is sold and we no longer agree with those ‘estate agent haters’. They just haven’t been to the right one. We cannot praise them enough. They deserve a bouquet. This review is freely given with our grateful thanks.

I was the Client from Hell. Wanted it all now. We are now sitting in our house 3 and a half weeks after first seeing it. Austin were really professional, on the ball, communicative. Not at all your stereotypical estate agent. I have the impression they are a small outfit - there is a team spirit and will to win. I seem to be logged in under my business account - I’m Alan Weatherill. Happy to confirm this is a genuine post, they deserve it.

Professional and friendly and team.Sean Austin came out for the first visit and we were instantly impressed by his enthusiasm and professionalism for selling our property. I had much more confidence using Austin’s than other estate agents we had tried and Sean had much more knowledge of selling such a property. We were very impressed by their marketing and the amount of interest we got in such a short time, all so professional.Simon took care of the viewings and kept us very well informed and up to date with progress, questions e.t.c. finding us the perfect buyer, someone who will appreciate the house, location and views as much as we have. I was a first time buyer and everything went fairly smoothly in terms of viewings, communications and purchase. But it just felt like an anti-climax when myself, partner and child went to collect the keys. It was almost as if they thought, "we don't get any commission from the buyer, so here are your keys and congrats". I don't have anything against them but it felt a bit 'no-frills' from a buyers point of view.
