I cannot recommend the Ealing branch of Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward highly enough! Martin and Chris were so helpful. The sale was complicated, as it was the result of a sudden death in my family. I do not live in London, but that didn’t matter. They were in touch on a regular basis and we were selling the flat during the cost of living crisis, which made things really difficult. Martin and Chris are an example of how all estate agents should be and proof that not all estate agents are untrustworthy. Thank you.

The service from start to finish from KFH Streatham was amazing. My initial meeting was with Tom, who was reassuring, honest and professional. Which was welcomed after not having the best experience with another estate agent. Tom was supportive and it’s evident he knows what he’s doing and is able to offer realistic advice to sell your property. Special thanks and shout out to Caitlin who sold my property, and progressed the sale through to exchange and completion. She was honestly incredible throughout the whole process, which ended up being a little longer than expected. She is extremely driven and personable, and makes you feel looked after. Throughout the whole process, she communicated effectively, was supportive, direct, and kept everything moving! Buying and selling can be stressful but the team at KFH not only made the whole thing a lot easier, but are also really nice to deal with, and i’m extremely grateful to them. So, if you’re looking for a Streatham based agency, I highly recommend.

We have used KFH Tooting for many years for our rental properties.When it came to sell we approached Antony who came to give us a valuation.The discussion on the price was based on extensive research on the local market and previous sales.A sale was quickly agreed to an excellent buyer at a good price.Zac then then took over the process and we quickly moved to exchange of contracts.There were some obstacles but Zac handled them with efficiency and professionalism.We would have no hesitation in using KFH Tooting again to sell our property.

I sold my apartment through KFH. It was a really positive experience. I had tenants in the apartment and they worked with them for viewings taking a lot of the stress out of it. Throughout the process, Jayden Salih, our agent was fantastic, he was very good at proactively engaging and where we weren’t getting responses from the buyer’s solicitor he followed up with the buyer to minimise delays. Massive thank you to Jayden for taking a lot of the stress out of the process. Really recommend.

We were lied to by a member of staff who told us that the solicitor she recommended was working on all of the new build properties in the development we were buying in. Using a recommended solicitor results in income for KFH. The solicitor was not instructed on any of the properties in the development. When we raised this the member of staff she was defensive and unprofessional. Despite raising a complaint the issue of them profiting from us using the recommended solicitor was avoided. We’ve been told that she didn’t intentionally mislead us. She either told a blatant lie or didn’t fact check the advice she gave. Either is a major concern and we believe that it was a lie. It’s a shame that our experience with this one person was so bad, as on the whole, considering that you’re dealing with estate agents Finan didn’t do too bad a job.

KFH Block Management:We are a block of 18 flats (in KT8) and we were mis-managed by KFH for many years. The start of the change came when we established our own Residents Association in late 2019. This enabled us to really understand where and how our Service Charge funds were being spent. And we found it was not being spent well. In the first 6 months of exercising our rights to inspect the accounts (and the decisions that under-pinned those accounts): we saved almost £12k; a significant proportion of our total Service Charge funds of c£53k pa.Upon further investigation we found clear negligence and incompetence. Firstly, two cleaning contractors had been awarded contracts containing the exact same scope of work. This had been the case for 6 years. Secondly, over £11k was spent without the mandatory Section 20 consultation taking place; and if the the Leaseholders had been consulted these works would not have gone ahead. These issues were escalated within KFH but even after conversation with the Managing Director of the Block Management division no liability was accepted on behalf of KFH for either of these issues. Fortunately the First Tier Tribunal found differently and a liability of around £23k was found in favour of us, the Leaseholders. KFH were then immediately dismissed by the Landlord and we selected the replacement Managing Agent.My advice re KFH: if you are a relatively small block, they are completely unable to deal with you in a fair way; eg you will get their preferred contractors. That is for their benefit, not yours. We have proven that contractors who are local to us can deliver (equal or better) service much more economically than anybody KFH selects. So: if you are a small block: stay away from KFH. If you are larger, I cannot comment. I leave that to you to investigate and make your own decision

First time using an agent to let out our property and KFH secured a tenant within 1 week.Initially they claimed they have asked 200 people on their books and felt the asking price was high. We stuck with it as we felt we just need the right people. Fortunately Edmund found us the perfect tenant after the first (and only) viewing. There were some minor issues with the listing details, we felt some staff did not have the attention to detail but they were quick to rectify. We were particularly pleased with Edmund, he was professional, responsive and had a can do attitude. Thank you for your help.

As first-time buyers, we had a lot to learn but Sawan was so helpful, informative, and patient while negotiating highly competitive deals for us. He was also so friendly, which made things even better, and always happy to hop on the phone if needed for any last-minute questions. Excellent service from my initial contact with the manager Stuart Banham, through to the various negotiators I dealt with at the Muswell Hill branch, but in particular Charlotte (Lottie) Smith, who mostly dealt with my transaction, she was always very helpful and available, a pleasure to deal with. I received a professional service with regular updates - I was particularly happy with the weekly calls to go through the activity on my flat for the previous week. My calls were answered promptly and call backs were made if the person was unavailable when I called. Everyone I dealt with at the MH office was polite, professional and friendly. Based on my experience I would have no hesitation in recommending KFH, and would certainly use them in the future.

The incredible patience of Rossen. There were problems with the LPE1 form. The Company Sec was terribly slow in filling out the details of the freehold. It was endless and I thought I would lose the client. Rossen managed to hold onto her. He was helpful and kept calm, though it was the longest sale he ever had and at times really annoying.I am full of admiration for him and extremely grateful for his guidance. KFH are extremely professional and I certainly recommend them.

Kevin Galvez Andrade of Blackheath office was of immense help from start to finish of the letting process, even when we had missed out on the first 2 flats we viewed, Kevin still offered us a third option and worked extra hard to ensure we meet up with all required checks and especially the move in date.
