GoogleHamish worked with me to help me find a flat through Jackson Stops. He was very clear from the beginning on what was realistic with my budget and expectations, market conditions and timelines. Nothing in the process came as a surprise because of his clear communication and follow through. He was extremely patient and worked with my schedule when we did viewings. He was able to narrow down on my desired criteria very quickly and I found the place I liked in the first batch of viewings he arranged. Once my offer was accepted, Hamish worked continuously to follow up with the conveyance process and we finally reached exchange of contracts. I am really happy with the care and diligence Hamish brought to the experience. As a first time buyer in London I was out of my depth throughout and without Hamish, I don’t think I would have been able to get to this stage.

Throughout the process of our sale, Jackson Stops wonderful Shaftesbury Team were at all times, responsive, constructive and extremely helpful wherever we had moments of doubt. In particular, at crucial moments in the sale they were able to 'helicopter' above the emotionality that inevitably accompanies a house sale or purchase and provide laser like advice which was so much appreciated.Another strong quality was the overlapping of the whole team with each knowing the others updates so that whoever answered the call or email, they were able to instantly respond.All the staff were unfailingly cheerful and courteous at all times and there was never a time when a call or email wasn't responded to.All in all, one of our best experiences todate and we would have no hesitation in recommending a would be buyer or seller to the JS Shaftesbury team led by James.

Review for Jackson StopsWell, not sure where to start but at first interaction I thought professional, credible and personable until we realised the game they were playing behind the scenes. We went through some negotiation with the seller, fine, get that this is part of the process. Our significantly above asking price offer was finally accepted, with a condition it was taken off the market. After three weeks, we asked if we could show ours kids around and so we did. Despite knowing we would do this, they had been negotiating with other offers and told us on Monday (3 weeks after our offer was accepted) that they had a formal offer through from another seller. Whilst I appreciate they have a legal right to do this, I think they have a moral obligation to let us know especially as we’re showing our kids around that weekend. They then asked us to go into a bidding war for a house we had already had an offer accepted for. They had said that the person had given a written offer which is bizarre considering they never asked us for anything in writing and my agent had advised to write in so they responded to our offer in the first place as communication with this agent was nonexistent! This shows how this company works - underhand and unprofessional

Tracy and Anthony have been just great - very patient and understanding over the months we've been looking for just the right house. I never got the feeling that they were only after a sale, because I also found they were honest and informative, so that we were able to make the right decision based on facts as well as feelings. In the end, the house we've found is out of their area, but I was so grateful to them and their friendly advice and practical help which made us feel that our future mattered to them. This is a well established and professional company that has been in business for over 100 years and certainly this shows and is witnessed from the keen staff to the partners from top to bottom. Someone once told me that moving home was more stressful that having a child. Being a man I can’t attest to that but my wife can and it is. But with a superb partner like Anthony Inskip you are in superb and experienced hands He is the cool hand Luke of JS and he carries you through the tough days My wife and I have moved constantly in our 45 year careers some 14 houses. This 15th and hopefully last happy move has been in the hands of ardent professionals Jackson Stops

GoogleThere is a spacious and well-proportioned place in hell for estate agents. But when Georgina from Jackson-Stops & Staff arrives they should turn down the thermostat a few notches. She was consistently respectful, responsive and friendly. And, as a tenant, JSS are less of a rip-off than other agents. Sure, it's >£100 to print a standardised contract, etc. but all-in-all this was probably the most cost-effective agency arrangement I've had since moving to London.
