I certainly received the 5 star treatment from the team at Anscombe's when I recently sold my flat! They couldn't have been more helpful. When I first met Dean Whitley, I was impressed by his professional, yet warm and reassuring manner, along with his breadth of knowledge and experience. Jack Hamilton was also a pleasure to deal with. He is a great communicator, genuinely concerned and understanding, and always kept me informed during the whole process of selling my property. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he was always ready to provide support and advice if I needed it. I would definitely recommend Anscombe's.

I recently bought my first property in SJW and RJ went above and beyond the call of duty to execute this for me. From sending me details of exactly the type of flat I was looking for and taking a very professional approach from start to finish as well as always being on hand to answer my questions and solve any issues that came up along the way, RJ exceeded my expectations. There was not a call or email left unanswered, even on weekends and through the whole process I felt I was in very good hands. There is no doubt that it will be RJ that I go to for anything I need relating to property from now on. As a first time buyer he made sure I had all the information I would need to avoid any issues and was always honest and up front. He came highly recommended and I am very grateful for that recommendation. I'm not sure I would have a property yet if it were not for him. The rest of the team at A&R were also friendly and helpful. Far better than any other agency I have dealt with.

I bought my first property through A&R three years ago. Lucy was the selling agent and she been extremely helpful, has been chasing the lawyers to make sure the transaction closes ASAP. She was also very honest with us. Three years later when it comes the time for us to move, we contacted A&R to sell our property. Lucy was on leave but her colleagues Dean and Jack were extremely helpful and they managed to find me a buyer off market in record time. Once a buyer was secured, Nick, who looked after house sales, helped us secure the dream house we wanted expeditiously. The whole process was at times difficult and took almost 2 months from the seller agreeing to the offer to exchange, but the team from A&R was always at hand to help. Completing a purchase through a chain in the current environment in London is always difficult, I am glad that through A&R we managed to have it done. When the time comes for us to sell our house, we will definitely go back to A&R for their help.

Even though i did not find a property through Jerome, i felt it was important to say how fantastic he was throughout the whole process. After dealing with 99% of the agents around the NW8 and W9 area Jerome was by far the best agent i dealt with. You hear people talking about your 'typical estate agent' and Jerome is not one of them. Jerome went above and beyond helping me to find a place. Whereas other agencies showed me places that did not fit the description of what I wanted, Jerome was very attentive and ensured that no time was wasted. I was also on a very strict time frame to find a flat, and once I decided on one he managed to get me in my new home in the matter of 2 days. A great estate agent! I dealt with Dean when house hunting. He always kept in touch with updates and information even after working hours. He was not pushy and he really listened to what we wanted so he full of useful suggestions! His knowledge of the St John's Wood area was excellent! I would definitely recommend Chancellors to anyone and if you are lucky enough to work with Dean then that's an added bonus.

Highly recommend to avoid this agency. They are unprofessional, disorganized and amateurish. Right from the start of tenancy to the end, following are the things they could not get done smoothly: 1. contract signed in time 2. release of keys for move in 3. disclosing material information regarding the property such as imminent construction project on the floor above the apartment 4. Managing checkout process (inventory clerk entered the property by lying to the end-of-tenancy cleaners without our authorization or providing us notice) 5. Return of deposit (still hoping for them to reply to our emails regarding return of our £4k plus deposit). Landlords- please go to an agency that can actually manage tenancy and has a head on their shoulders. Tenants- highly recommend to just avoid engaging with them, otherwise you will be inviting a lot of headache and stress.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

This particular branch is fraudulent they advertise old properties they once had to seem as though they still have plenty of properties in portered buildings. I live in abbey house Westminster and they have an ad for a property in my building. I cannot say the flat number but I will be in contact with the landlord to notify them as it’s effecting my sale. Another agency also has the same property on the market for £125,000 more. They’ve also had it up since 15th May 2018 and refuse to take it down by claiming it’s under offer. I’ve messaged them numerous times and it seems it’s been under offer now for a year and a half!!! Wow these must be the slowest negotiations ever. Absolute clowns.
