GoogleI have experienced interactions with many letting agencies and Martin & Co is one of the better experiences I have had, in regards to setting up a tenancy. They were quick to respond to calls and emails and always with a polite manner. My only criticism is the choice of their referencing provider. Due to technical issues which the company admitted to having, we spent many hours and days on referencing which should not have been so difficult. Otherwise the process was smooth. (Thanks to the team for their patience and I hope the chocolate bars are enjoyed! )

GoogleIf i could give zero stars to this company I would. They are an absoulte shambles and highly unprofessional in their dealings with previous tenants. They will not want to return your deposit, and hound you with their unprofessional emails. You would be better off dealing directly with the landlord instead of dealing with these cowboys. Avoid at all costs, unless you want stress, aggravation and to never see your money again!

GoogleI was a tenant with Martin & Co. for three years and had a smooth and easy time managing my tenancy. Issues that I had were sorted quickly where feasible and the property manager was extremely professional and always helpful. Crucially she made an effort to retain impartiality between the tenant and the landlord, which I have found is a rare quality in estate agents, so I highly recommend their services.

GoogleAwful management company, very aggressive and sneaky - wouldn't recommend to anyone. First time renting and it has has been a terrible experience. We were 1 week in arrears ONCE due to a job change and M&Co staff came round banging on the windows and doors, they lied about the landlady wanting to sell and also constantly tried to come round for short notice visits and inspections, never giving us any peace. Constantly harassing us with calls, voicemails and emails.

GoogleWorst letting agent I've dealt with: house had dirty carpets when we moved in (during covid) and we were told that we could either clean the carpet ourselves or leave it in the same state when we left! They have taken 4 weeks and counting to fix our boiler after having told us there was nothing wrong with it when we reported it, three months to fix a wood burning stove..never follow up, no urgency, always us chasing them for dates that aren't met... Very poor at managing our admittedly awful and cheap landlordNegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism
