I went to see a house with Laura at Davies & Davies. Later that day she sent me two recommendations for properties she thought I would like based on the 15 minute viewing. They were both spot on. She listened and used her initiative to suggest how these houses could work for me and my family. I''d tried to sell my property using a fixed fee agent but they proved to be useless, so I changed to D&D. This was a challenging project as the property was an ex marital home, and both sets of solicitors seemed determined to thwart the process. Toby and his team diligently managed the communications and negotiations between us and the buyers, whilst nudging, pushing, and driving the solicitors. I can't recommend Davies & Davies highly enough, they earned every penny of their fee (don't be tempted to use cheap options, they'll cost you more in the long run!)

We recently sold our property and brought our ongoing property with Davies and Davies and the experience could not have been more different from our previous experiences with another local agency. The communication with regards to the chain was always very clear and regular, when we experienced stress (cause by other solicitors not our own) Toby in particular went over and above to help resolve the situation and minimise any delay to our completion date. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Toby and his team to friends and family and I personally would never use any other agency. However since they helped us find our forever home I can’t see us needing to. Thank you to all the team!!

We used Davies and Davies Estate Agents - Westbury after 2 failed attempts by other agents to sell our house. My only regret was not going to them from the outset. I am sure If we had at the height of the market, we would have gotten more for our home. They achieved 100% success for us - 1 viewing and sold!! The team are amazing especially Alex and Anthony. They were willing to have the tough conversation on price that in our experience we have found other agents not so much willing to do. Our house had been over priced, our expectations over managed and they came along to up the mess per say. We were not happy punters at this point but they were able to tell us the truth and get us to trust them as a result of their frank honesty and the genuine connection we had built with them. Whenever we needed to speak to them they were there at the end of the phone. Sorry Anthony, I probably chewed your ear off too often. We hope to not have to embark on this house selling/ buying journey again as it’s so stressful but if we do, you will be our first call.

This was evident right from the start with the prompt and friendly service from Merita, valuing my home, through to listing and the viewings the property. Even when the sale sadly fell through at the last minute, Paul quickly responded with the house back on the market and a new buyer found within hours! Highly recommend Davies & Davies and Paul Weeks in particular, they are extremely professional, efficient and helpful. We had to sell my Mum's flat as she had moved into a care home so it was quite a difficult and upsetting time for our family. Covid etc didn't help. But Paul was absolutely amazing. There were various hitches during the sale (none to do with Davies & Davies!) and I honestly don't think we'd have completed the sale at all without his expertise and guidance. We have had a really awful experience with another local estate agent just trying to put a offer in for a property. They were not really helpful, not knowledgable when viewing and didn’t keep in touch when we found a bungalow so we lost the property. So were really nervous when we found the perfect place for my parents. Paul put us at ease straight away , very professional, knowledgable and had empathy as my parents were moving in difficult circumstances. We highly recommend Davies and Davies , they kept in touch , reassured us and went above and beyond to ensure our buying journey was as smooth as possible, even when we had difficulties with our solicitors! Thanks to Paul my parents have the bungalow they want and they can start a new life in Wiltshire.

As a buyer, I can't praise Davies and Davies enough. Paul Weeks and his team have helped me from the first day I viewed the property, and through every step of the way since. From simple things like allowing me to vew the place with an architect, to taking meter readings when I asked - absolutely nothing was too much trouble.
