Jackson Grundy were efficient and professional from the beginning. Starting with Sam, followed up with Bailey and Anna. They were proactive, we accepted an offer of the asking price within a few days. They kept us well informed on a regular basis. When the first sale fell through they remarketed the property and very quickly found a new buyer. They were also good at negotiating on our behalf without having to refer back to us for everything. Use them to sell your property, you won’t regret it.

Becky and all of the team at Jackson Grundy provided us with an exceptionally good service.Selling Mum's house from 150 miles away was challenging especially as the first buyer pulled out suddenly due to a National TV news report about the floods in Northampton. Mum's home was the other side of the town with no problem.

Incredibly rude and condescending…

Incredibly rude and condescending staff, very unhelpful and were put out when I rang to ask them questions re my tenancy. Rang as they ignored email. Falsely advertised property both with pictures and goods stated in property. Took 2 weeks for them to confirm which white goods were in property. Had to drag information out of them as to what would happen next, eg once signed tenancy agreement electronically would we get copy of tenancy agreement back signed by them or ? Overall very unimpressed and would not use them again.

Misleading information

Viewed a property with the branch at moulton for a lease hold property. First question we asked was do they allow pets to which the response was yes. We put an offer in on the property which was accepted and moved forward with the purchase. We later found out from the solicitors that pet where not allowed to be kept in property. We questioned the estate agent with regard to this only to be told the managed company had changed the rules but when we looked into this further we found out that they had never allowed pets. I had to rehome my dog because of the false information we received from this branch as if I had not carried on with purchase I would have been homeless. This is not the first time my family have had problems with branch. Would never use them again or recommend them.

Excellent service from Chris, Becky and Megan in the Duston branch, from start to finish. Thoroughly professional throughout the sale of my deceased parents home,to completion.They were all extremely empathetic during this emotional journey for myself and my sister. The communication from them was second to none, especially having to deal with 2 daughters that live miles apart.It can be difficult choosing an estate Agent with all the competitors about, but we are so glad we chose this wonderful team at Jackson Grundy, Duston. Very disappointed

I am renting with Jackson Grundy for 7 years the same house. We took the house for me and my mom, I got married and I inform JG that I am leaving but my mom will stay in the house, will continue to rent it. I asked for a reference but they continue to refuse to provide me one, is already 3 weeks of chasing them. I found already a new tenant to move with my mom, to cover the pay, they send the documents, we did all the procedure and they keep refuse to give me a reference, I’ve been told that they have to pass all the reference first and only after I can get my reference from them. We paid for 7 years the rent, even in the covid time we didn’t got any discount and we paid. Since we had a new agent, Michelle Francis, we start having a hard time with the agency, not helpful at all and destroyed completely the reputation of the company in my eyes. I am after a surgery and mentally down, all this situation affected me even more, after the surgery instead of taking rest, I was chasing JG as I need to move asap. I am very disappointed and as soon as I am well, I will start a complain against them.

Not great from my experience.

This is a strange agency, they have a specific office for houses over 400k but not really providing the service needed to sell such houses in prestigious locations. The house wasn't selling and getting very few viewings, however JG did not once proactively speak to me to see what could be done to make the house more appealing. Whether that be reduce the price or if work needed doing the house, I made it very clear to them that they are the professionals in this field and would be open to what ever they thought needed doing. We reduced the price but this was by our own conclusions about the market not from any advise given from JG. The other issue I had was with their photos, very poor done by themselves not using a wide angel lens. When I suggested they needed to use a wider angle lens they said they don't use wide angle lenses. Which is very short sited of them.The new agents we are using seem to be on a different level, they are using professional photographer and the photos have turned out amazing. They are confident about their ability so there is no tie in periods and they have taken the time to get to know the house and all the details.Also they kept trying to get different people from various offices to do the viewings which I specifically said they shouldn't for obvious reasons.If you are selling a large property over 400k stay away there are much better agents who for less will do a better job.
