GoogleVery poor service from Remax Livingston, Organised a viewing at a property in Kaimes Terrace Livingston on the Monday, phoned on the day of the viewing to find the actual flat number as the agent never sent over the details knew where the street was, arrived at the flat to view around the property which was a very clean and presented property, after viewing the property and having a discussion with the agent I made a verbal offer and was informed this would be presented to the owner and I'd be informed of there decision, I phoned the office two days later (Wednesday) and was told the agent wasn't available right now and they would ask her to contact me once she was available, I was also informed the owners were about to accept an offer on the property, a further two days later I phoned the office again (Friday) and was told over the phone how sorry they were the agent hadn't contacted me and the owners had accepted an offer on the property today, How does a company operate in the best interests of the seller when they don't communicate to all potential buyers, i was prepared to offer a higher price for this property, but when the selling Agents don't contact you are they really putting there best efforts in for their clients ? Not in my opinion, I'd advise anyone looking to sell there property through Remax to think again, beware people. Kenny

If there have been issues experienced by clients, I am keen to explore what these are and to fix any issues for the future. Thank you for the positive comments on the presentation of the property. I have looked at the records for your viewing of the property at Kaims Terrace and the subsequent offer that you submitted. From our records, I can see that you made a verbal offer on the property, which was taken to the owners. There were also several other offers which had been made on the property, at that time and all were under consideration. Given the level of interest in the property, a closing date for offers was set. We attempted to contact you by telephone twice and sent a text message about the closing date. Obviously, we are keen to get the best possible price for our clients, so we contacted all the interested parties. Your verbal offer was not the highest offer received. The vendors went with the highest offer. Unfortunately, there can be only one purchaser for each property. This often means that there are several disappointed potential buyers. It is a fact of modern life that people often don’t answer the phone to numbers that they don’t recognise. In acknowledgement of this fact, we also use text messages to contact clients, as we find these are more likely to convey the information we need to send. We have the record of the text message sent to you, following the telephone calls. I am sorry you feel disappointed that your offer was not successful. GoogleFrom the point of initial contact the experience has been very professional whilst at the same time maintaining a personal touch. You always felt that your property was a priority to Re/Max and you were kept right up to date with developments. You felt like someone was 'holding your hand' throughout the whole process. Even though I had not sold a property for 25 years, I did not feel out of my depth. Very good experience all round.

GoogleWe live in Canada and were trying to sell my parents house remotely and our representative (Janice Bennie) made this sale as smooth as she possibly could have. She arranged for a cleaner to come in before the house photographs were taken, to ensure it presented well. We also had to contend with a volatile economy and interest rates, issues with Council work in the front driveway and some minor issues with the plumbing. Janice kept us informed of everything in a very timely manner and even sent her husband to check on the plumbing issue. I couldn't be more please with the personal service we received from Janice Thank you for everything and for all of the work your office has done for us.

GoogleFantastic service. I cannot recommend Carol Lawton highly enough. She is exactly what everyone wants and needs in an Estate Agent; professional, friendly and has the expertise knowledge. What stood out for me compared to alot of agents is that she isn’t pushy in the slightest. By the end of my first phone call with Carol I was desperate to view the house. She followed up the viewing and I made an offer which was accepted.
