GoogleRoyston Lund helped me to find the right buyer pretty much in a very short time. The sale was agreed in just about 2-3 weeks after the property went on sale. Gabrielle who was my Sales Negotiator was very professional and helped me thoroughly throughout the process keeping me up-to-date with the proceedings. In fact she kindly extended her help with some letter forwarding even after the exchange was completed showing how important customer satisfaction was.

The advert placed for my property was beautiful and the sales team ensure I got the best offers possible and sold within 2 weeks! They helped me to find a brilliant property to buy which suited my budget and needs perfectly. Through out the purchase and sale process they communicated really well and support me with decision making. Highly recommend.

GoogleReally disappointed!!! I have been looking for a rental place in WB area. Spoke to them about couple of properties over the phone. Details were taken and I was told I’ll get a call back about viewing the property. It never happened and I called them back again in few days to chase only to be told that all viewings are fully booked. Unreliable people to deal with.

GoogleIf I could give this company a minus star I really would. Sadly our mum died last year and we were in the emotional situation of selling a much loved house,full of memories,and a house mum had loved. Royston and Lund made this one of the most upsetting experiences! Having pictures sent to us from the buyers solicitor of people in our mum's bedroom taking pictures opening drawers and children running around. All this while we were clearing mum's possessions, cash, private papers and personal items. We were not told of the visit, which had been stipulated originally. The sign of a good company is how they handle issues and complaints like this! Let me say......... Royston and Lund were disgusting. So much so that I am going through the ombudsman!!

GoogleWe have recently sold our property with Royston and Lund and would highly recommend them as an estate agent. We had tried to sell 2 years ago, but due to a number of issues decided to take our house off the market and tentatively came back onto the market with some anxiety in April 2024. From the moment Graham came to provide us with a valuation and an exact marketing plan we have been really happy with the service from start to finish. Their communication is informative but not too excessive, which we had found previously. We were treated with professionalism and a personalised service. Being provided with advice and support at those key moments, whilst being listened to, which was not our previous experience with another agent. Kieran, our Sales Negotiator, assisted with the planning of viewings and negotiated with interested parties for us which resulted in us getting a higher price than we were anticipating. Sam B, Senior Sales Negotiator, then assisted us every step of the way for our sale and fought our corner, using her persistence in getting the completion date agreed by all parties, when no one else was taking the lead. No question was too small and our anxiety moments from our previous experience were soon put at ease by the knowledge and friendly approach all the team had. We cannot thank the team enough and we are now very happy in our forever home.

All were very friendly, patient and provided excellent infomation, advice and support. We can't thank them enough for taking us through this journey towards completion. Always informed us what was the next step in the process, until we got to the last step and just had to collect the key! Samantha was absolutely brilliant throughout, she answered ALL queries, and was happy to speak to us on the phone whenever she was available to. GoogleRoyston and Lund in West Bridgford arranged the sale of my property and did a superb job. They were friendly, helpful, efficient, and most importantly got the house sold quickly and at a decent price. Unfortunately, the fee charged was over £1000 more than I thought it should be! They seemed unwilling to attempt to resolve the matter which was surprising. I emailed explaining what I thought the correct fee should be in a polite manner, having congratulated them on the things they did well. Their email reply simply said "good morning, we will be sending the full invoice to the solicitor" without even having the courtesy to explain why they thought my arguements were not valid!

GoogleI just want to say thanks to R&L Lettings for the great property management service they provided for us on our eight rental flats in West Bridgford. Over the course of 20 years, Stephanie and her team have done an excellent job maintaining and letting the flats for us. The lettings team are all very professional and efficient. Repairs, re-lets and improvements have always been dealt with promptly. The team are well informed regarding any updates/changes in PRS regulation. Thanks again for making the management of these 8 flats so hassle free, despite me living 4 hours drive away.

GoogleYou've heard of location, location, location, well my experience with R&L was more lousy, lamentable & lacklustre. Poor comms, interrupted & inconsistent service due to staff shortages & a stream of people leaving, lack of support, lack of empathy, and a lack of proactivity when it really counted. If it wasn't for me constantly phoning in and asking questions not sure that anything would have progressed at all. Their commission drives what they do now and how they behave - they used to pride themselves on excellent customer service, at one time the best in the region. I would know I have used them in the past to sell my house on more than one occasion. The change of ownership has introduced poor leadership, a negative culture, poor continuity and an inadequate customer focus. Nowhere near good enough and not a happy experience for me at all - overwhelmingly disappointed.

Some of your feedback does come as a surprise to us however, given that we arranged 90 viewings and were in receipt of 12 offers and agreed to sell your property 3 times. Throughout the year you were on the market with us and sold with us, we achieved more money for you each time a sale was re-agreed. Without some of the qualities you listed as lacking above, none of this would have possible. Furthermore, we regularly had members of our staff staying well past closing time to ensure communication with you was clear and was an accurate representation of where each one of your 3 agreed sales was at. Our new owners have invested heavily in technology and our personnel. However, I fully admit that we will not get every interaction with a seller or buyer 100% correct 100% of the time. I do feel it necessary to point out that the new ownership has not resulted in a change of leadership or management at any level within the sales department, with all leaders and management in the residential sales department being those which were in place when our new owners bought Royston and Lund in 2021. GoogleRoyston and Lund recently sold my late mother's flat in West Bridgford. I can't fault the service provided by them from start to finish. The staff were extremely courteous and continually provided me with updates regarding viewings etc. Once sold the sales progression team were able to make the path to completion extremely easy. I would recommend them if you have a property to sell without reservation.
