Fantastic service. Selling the house is the easy part, it’s the sales progression which makes all the difference, this is what makes a good agent in our experience. We had a long period between sale and completion with a couple of solicitor changes along the way, Sasha in particular kept on top of progress all the way, good communication and updates, explaining the process all the time. I’ve learnt a lot about the conveyancing process over these last few months. The whole team are polite and professional and always return calls or emails, Ken is a real gentleman. Thank you team!

I contacted country properties to arrange a valuation on my property, however I was passed to a different branch, who then took a long time to get back to me. When I finally had a call from someone she jumped straight in with properties they had available without talking the time to properly hear our requirements. She then asked if we had any other valuations and who with, then starting to make negative comments on that estate agent (even though the other agent then went on to sell our house in 4 days). When we finally got round to our valuation she was utterly unimpressed that we had quite busy lifestyles and asked repeatedly that someone take some time off work so that she could properly discuss what they could offer after she had valued the house. I was very shocked with the poor telephone manner and the complete lack of flexibility around us. Not an agent that I feel would listen to us or work for us at all and we would not recommend them.

GoogleCountry Properties are the BEST estate agents! Dave and Chris have been fantastic the whole way through selling my house, they really do go above and beyond for you. Their communication has been brilliant throughout the whole process, they are very pro active and on the ball to make sure everything is proceeding smoothly. When we experienced poor service from a solicitor they stepped in and held everything together. Every member of the team that I've spoken to has been so helpful and they are all genuinely lovely human beings. We are very grateful for everything they have done for us, cant recommend them enough!

GoogleWe recently sold our flat through Country Properties in Welwyn Garden City and can't praise them highly enough! The members of staff have all been brilliant from the first day when Gary came over to value our flat all the way to exchange and completion. We would recommend them in a heartbeat as they provided excellent service, with regular updates and walked us through our sale making it incredibly easy and assisting us with anything we needed. We cannot praise them enough, especially Gary who was superb throughout the process.

GoogleWe are a couple of young professionals and we have been renting a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment via Coutry Properties in Welwyn Garden City for the past 2 years. We can safely say that they have provided by far the best experience we've ever had from a letting agency in the UK. They have they been very quick and super friendly in responding to any queries or requests we have made and they have always been transparent about all the processes involved. Special shout out to Joanna who has always been there to help with a smile, but also Sue and Doug for their professionalism.

What should have been a fairly simple Exchange had its moments and stress, however discussing the issues with Country Properties, especially Sasha, calmed the situation and gave us the cushion and expert knowledge that was needed to make this a better move! GoogleGary has been extremely responsive and supportive during the whole process even when things were taking a long time with a bank. He has been a great conduit for information between myself and my vendors. The times that Gary was out of office Chris has also been very helpful.

Unfortunately this company cannot be trusted by Landlords . Having formulated a contract many years ago they recently tried to impose add additional costs which were not an acceptable change tour agreement . We subsequently decided to terminate our agreement because of this and incurred an introduction fee on our properties after many years of business . A bad experience .

GoogleThe aent arrived late, after we had to call to ask where she was. We were told we were the only ones viewing and she'd be there in 5 mins. She arrived in 10 minutes, but then proceeded to show someone else around before us who presumably had an earlier appointment. After they left we made our way in as there was no sign of the agent. She greeted us by asking for our name and what time our appointment was. Surely she should've known and really, having already kept us waiting 15 minutes I'd have thought an apology would've been in order but wasn't forthcoming. Then she proceeded to say, with a sullen look on her face, that the flat wasn't good but what you'd expect for just £650/month. Incredibly unprofessional from start to finish and quite rude actually. The flats stank of cannabis as soon as you entered the shared corridor. It was dark and depressing with damaged doors to some flats and a smell of urine added to the mix. It was worse than a prison. I wouldn't even want my dog living there let alone human beings and to suggest, well what do you expect for the price left us speechless.

Unfortunately your story is very different to that of my member of staff who has worked for me for some years and has never been anything but honest about any failings she may have. You wee described as rude and expected something far better than you were going to get at your exceptionally low budget for Welwyn Garden City. I am more than happy to take negative feedback where it is warranted and fair but I belive your feedback was neither.

GoogleGenerally very responsive but the reason for the low score is because I was hurried by the estate agent to move as quickly as humanly possible, only to find out this was not the plan for the seller. Also, I was told only 6 working days before the planned completion date that the seller needed a minimum of 5 working days to get their mortgage in place. 5 working days is not typical and this played a role in us missing the completion date, which was very expensive and stressful.

Thank you for the 4 stars, however my understanding is that the pressure initially came from your end and not us. As for 5 days notice on drawing down funds, this is very much the standard notice that mortgage companies require to supply funds to a solicitor for completion, in fact in the current climate many request 7 days.
