Working with Jordan at Levens View

Working with Jordan and the team at Levens View has been a pleasure! Buying a new home isn't always as straight forward as we'd like it, but Jordan has gone out of his way to ensure that the property was ready in the time scale we needed (as our temporary accommodation was due to expire). We've been here for just over a week and the team at Rowland have frequently checked that everything is as needed. It is worth noting that Jordan has (on many occasions) worked late and on his days off to ensure we were dealt with in a highly professional and customer focused manner.

I am currently in the process of buying a home on the Sandpiper Grange development and Stephen has been absolutely amazing throughout the whole process! What can I say, the whole moving in process was so smooth and professional. I haven’t moved in 10 years, so I was very apprehensive, but I didn’t need to be. The sales manager and site manager have been exceptional and always available for any queries. The house is more than I could have expected and like all new builds there is a proactive and professional response to new build snags. Update for my April 2021 review:Moving home is never easy and my home move was worthy of a Hollywood movie: buyer pulled out 10 day prior to mid June move😡I can't thank Stephen at Thorne Meadows enough for all the help and support he gave at the time. I knew the risk when I reserved and despite everything going wrong at the time I did get another sale quite quickly and thanks largely to Stephen my plot was still available. I am truly grateful for his professionalism and practical but no-nonsense approach to my predicament. Stephen moved to open a new site for Rowland and Andy took over with the same level of professionalism as Stephen. He calmly guided me through the final stages of my move, which again had a few hiccups, spotted things on my home buyers demonstration that I hadn't seen as I was too excited at the move actually happening. Noel the deputy site manager has been great in advising how things work and reminding me at the 1 week review!I can't begin to describe how happy I am with the build quality. Bathrooms and kitchen look fabulous. The house is so warm I'm sure the bills will be low😁Thank you Rowland Homes and particularly Stephen, Andy and Noel.

Reservation at Sandpiper Grange

Huge thank you to Steve at Sandpiper Grange for all of his help with reserving a property. Steve met us at a different development to allow us to view a show-home as Sandpiper Grange is still under construction. Steve was friendly and welcoming. He was very informative and made the viewing the property fun which made the whole process much less stressful. We then returned to Sandpiper Grange to reserve a plot. Steve went above and beyond staying till 7pm to finish the necessary paperwork. Can't fault Steve and all of the advice and help he has given me and my partner!Zoe Allen

Wonderful customer service

We bought our home at another site which is due to complete soon but due to not having a show home of our particular home we contacted Jordan at the Levens View site in Ulverston to see if we could view the show home there. Excellent New Build House, Incredible Service

Being an international home buyer, I faced difficulties in finding a new build house. I sent emails to some popular builders, but either I could not receive their reply or they were not willing to offer. Fortunately, the staff of Rowland Homes responded to me promptly and delivered incredible service in offering such a beautiful new house for us. I want to say thank you to Mathew at Meadow Gate of Rowland Homes for all of his time and effort in helping get us into our new home. My wife and I want to express our appreciation for the way he took the time to understand exactly what type of new home we were looking for. I am so glad that he sent me email to recommend a new build detached house at the popular site which was still available. His personal warmth and interest in us took all the trepidation out of purchasing our first home. He made it a real pleasure, as he took us through the process step by step and he also updated the building progress of the house to us weekly before its completion. It was amazing to see everything come together, and we are so very thankful to his guidance, advice and support. We would like to say thank you to Lucy at Meadow Gate that she explained the details of the house to us clearly and she was willing to provide information about the choice of kitchen cabinets, tiles and floorings. She sent many photos to us by emails about the choice of kitchen, tiles and floorings. She spent so much time on us to understand exactly what we were looking for in a new house. Her cheerful attitude had smoothed the way. We love our new home and we look forward to entertaining in the spacious new kitchen, back yard and lounge in our new house. I would also like to say thank you to Wendy at the Pastures of Rowland Homes. I was too late to reserve a house at her site but she suggested me nearby site at Meadow Gate immediately. Even though I was absence from the day of completion of the house, Mathew was willing to arrange my snagging person for the snag without me here. The snagging report after completion of the house showed few defects found in such a big house. Rowland Homes has constructed a quality home for us. I found my house was clean and tidy in the photos of the snagging report. We are impressed with the quality of Rowland’s workmanship and the professionalism of the staff. It made all the difference to know that Mathew and his team were mindful of the details and were willing to follow up those defects of the house. This house and Rowland’s service surpassed all our expectations. Thank you.

Thorne Meadows.We absolutely love our new home on Thorne Meadows. The house demonstration, the week before completion, was a joy being able to see the finished product. This is our 3rd new build purchase and the quality of the finish is definitely the best yet, the house feels so solid and is incredibly warm. We upgraded the Kitchen worktops and the flooring package throughout and both are magnificent and well worth the additional cost.Stephen has been really helpful, professional and friendly throughout the whole process and offered really good advice as we were picking the options and finishes etc. The part exchange process went really well and removed a load of potential stress.Also had a good 7 day snag meeting with Noel. No major issues identified and no pushbacks on anything raised, he even fixed one minor issue during the meeting.

As it has been a month now since we moved into our new home we wanted to thank you and the team for all the support and assistance you have given us as we moved into our dream home on your Levens View Estate. The experience has been a joy for us and Jordan has been excellent, this started with the help and advice you gave us that led to us taking you up on your offer of a Powermove to purchase our new home.The professionalism of you and the Rowland Homes team has been excellent throughout our home purchase. The Powermove worked seamlessly and the estate agents you used where very good and kept us well informed throughout the entire process.The communication has been excellent throughout the buying process and you kept us well informed about the construction of our new home and we were pleased to see that you and the team delivered on your promised moving in date.Since we have moved in it has been a joy as our Reynold home is everything we were looking for in our new family home. There is plenty of space, the finish is very good and we really like the layout of the family room as it opens out onto our lovely sized garden.The standard of build has been very good with a snag list that only consisted of some minor cosmetic elements which I am extremely pleased to say Dan and his team have been going out of their way to fix. Thorne Meadows, From Picking to reserving the plot

It's rather daunting when you haven't moved home for 30 years and suddenly you have a a buyer and need to find somewhere quickly. I'd been watching Thorne Meadows for a while, lovely area and a really lovely new housing development so we made an appointment and popped along to view the show homes and have a covid safe chat with Stephen, the sales manager. Stephen answered all our questions like a long time friend having a chat in the kitchen. Some were quite technical but he wasn't phased. Following a good look around and expert guidance from Stephen on which plots were available, when they would be ready to move into and the process of purchasing we booked an appointment for the following day to reserve the plot. Stephen expertly guided us through this very thorough process, constantly ensuring we understood and were happy with everything. We were also in luck that the plot kitchen and tiles choices hadn't been made. Stephens was brilliant with his advice when picking the colours, making suggestions we hadn't thought of, never pushy always professional and generally making the whole process an exciting and enjoyable experience. Great service

We have just recently moved into a rowland home on the Meadowgate development. From the initial phone call to book in a visit to the showhome to getting our keys the service was perfect. Matt was great throughout the whole process. He kept us up to date with weekly updates about the completion and when choosing our extras he was there to offer us advice but didn't pressure us into buying anything which enabled us to choose what was right for us. When doing home demo day both Matt and Stan were great it made moving in day less stressful as we knew how the house worked. After moving in a week later we received a courtesy call from Ryan to discuss any issues we had. We spoke with him and he took the time to listen to our snags and he sorted our problem out with the toilet that day. Throughout the whole process we have felt like valued customers and we absolutely love our new home.

Happy first time buyer/ excellent staff

I have recently moved into a Renishaw house at the Meadow Gate estate and throughout the whole sales process Mathew was fantastic in his dealings with us, making sure we knew what was going on with our house and made us feel valued, rather than just being another customer. We have been looked after as first time buyers and we have felt very satisfied with our decision to buy with Rowland homes. Mathew has made our first home feel even more special.Ryan who is running customer care on the estate, messaged me on Sunday to visit my house. On Monday he came round and saw we had so many snags on our 7 day list to do. By Tuesday we had a new handy man called Andrew. Andrew was brilliant in sorting out pretty much every snag we had on our 7 day list across 2 days and worked for 8/9 hours each day to sort out our issues. I was/am extremely impressed with Ryan and Andrew on the estate and the efficiency in sorting out snags and putting existing home owners first. Since then Ryan has always given me courtesy calls to make sure things are going alright and to address any other minor snags we have had.I hope this high level of customer service continues into the future.The standard of build has been really good and we are really happy with the whole process.Jake Harness

Highly recommended Rowland at meadow gate & Matt

We moved into our first home and couldn’t be happier. The move in went so smoothly (picked our keys up at 11) after signing everything off with Matt. Throughout the whole process Matt was extremely helpful, answered all our questions and he’d always be happy to take any of our calls if we needed to speak to him. Our initial snag list was completed within a month of us living in the home which is pretty efficient considering there was no major snags within our home. Overall very happy with the whole process and couldn’t fault their work. Top lads on site and top people in the show homes!

We have had a great experience buying our first new home! Being new to the process of both buying a home & buying a new build, Kiera our sales rep at Finch Park was very helpful along the journey. We haven’t reserved a Rowland home yet due to our financial Situation but will be doing shortly at the Ulverston Site.We wanted to just mention the Level of service we received on Monday from Jordan was Amazing and very impressive. We could not get onto the plot due to health and safety Reasons but Jordan was very innovative and FaceTimed us and took us directly to the plot we wanted To see even though the weather was dreadful, he even took the time to send us a personal video of the plot so we could make an informed decision.He answered all of our questions with ease and we felt nothing was too much trouble. This young man goes above and beyond and we feel more than comfortable that we are in good hands once we are in the position to secure our plot.

We're currently nearing the end of our buying phase and the support we've received from the sales advisor Stephen has been nothing short of excellent, Rowland as a company have both listened to and actioned our requests whilst their communication has been swift and concise leaving no ambiguity. As an engineer I have followed the build process of our house closely and whilst not yet 'in' I can foresee no issues with the physical construction. We recently had to visit a different Builder for my daughters house purchase and was very disappointed with their abrupt and dismissive attitude all of which reinforced my assurance of dealing with Rowland. So far very happy.

I would recommend buying a Roland home…

I would recommend buying a Roland home - this is my second Rowland home - I bought my first one back when Rowland was just starting out. Unfortunately due to personal reasons I had to sell. So I was over the moon when I saw the Thorne meadows development - beautiful location, great homes. We contacted the sales executive Stephen and we never looked back. He was so helpful/knowledgeable and couldn’t do enough for us. He helped make our dream home possible. We lived quite a distance away but this didn’t stop the communications. Stephen made us feel part of every little step, when we couldn’t attend face to face meetings Stephen set up regular Skype meetings to keep us up to date. He was great and made everything seem so personal, he was always cheerful and made us giggle, always made us feel welcome, nothing was too much trouble - we looked forward to each of our interactions. No query of ours was left unanswered - he was very organised with speedy turnaround. We felt reassured from start to finish. We have been in our new home just over a week and are thrilled to bits. Stephen has now introduced us to the site manager (who seems equally as professional and helpful as Stephen - to continue with our Rowland journey) we have also received communication from head office of who will be our Customer care point of contact post 6 months - this provides additional reassurance should support be required thereafter- this is new (in comparison to my first purchase - so a welcome addition).
