We are a corporate landlord who instructed Johns & Co in 2024 to let and manage a London residential property. In November 2025 we were sent updated terms of business for DocuSign. The updated terms materially increased the withdrawal fee from approximately Β£1,200+VAT to one full year's fees (Β£2,136), but this change was not flagged or highlighted at the time of signing.

I rented a property through Johns & Co. for a year. While the tenancy itself went smoothly, my experience at the end of the tenancy has been disappointing.After moving out in early April, it took a significant amount of time and multiple follow-ups before I received my deposit back. A portion of the deposit was withheld to cover my final bill, with the promise that any remaining balance would be refunded once the bill amount was confirmed. Unfortunately, since April, I have yet to receive the remaining balance despite consistent follow-ups.The person initially handling my case left the company, and it appears my case was overlooked. I have had to repeatedly contact Johns & Co., often explaining my situation from the beginning to different staff members. Despite assurances that I would receive callbacks or updates via email, no one has ever followed through.This lack of communication and resolution is disappointing and unprofessional. While the tenancy itself was positive, the poor handling of post-tenancy matters has left me dissatisfied with the service.
