GoogleI arranged a viewing for today and I happened to be in Walton ahead of schedule, I contacted Rochills to ask if viewing could be brought forward and I got a call back 2.5h later, understandable as they were all busy out on viewings. However, the person who called back 'Dan' (I believe that was his name) was quite condescending and undermining when I questioned the price of the property in question given that two or three properties were being sold in the same development for 115k less (Ambleside Avenue). He hanged up on me before I could even say 'bye' which I found disrespectful and unprofessional to say the least. Probably because he does not think I am not in a position to buy and assumed I am not worth his time. He showed he cared little, no interest in what my argument was, customer care was quite poor. This does not benefit the seller as expectations may be a bit unrealistic, other estate agents have mentioned the property is overprized. Rochills is not advising on the sellers best interest and when challenged that the attitude showed today was pretty precarious 'Dan' could not care less and hanged up. Possibly because I have an African name. I do not recommend 'Dan's' /Rochills services and my experience with them was very very poor, appalling. Maria A B-S

With regards to the value of the property , it is clear that our property is completely different to the other properties on the development, as well as our property being significantly larger. They found a buyer on the first day of visits and although the conveyancing process took longer than expected , through no fault of their own, they were courteous and responsive throughout. GoogleI have been renting my Walton on Thames maisonette for nearly two and a half years with Rochills. They have efficiently found tenants on three occasions. However, the last time was particularly impressive with a difficult situation following a tenant leaving before the contract expired. Jemima Hogg solved the problem almost immediately and went to great lengths to make sure everything was in place as soon as possible for the new tenants to move in. I recommend her very highly. Sacha Thomas has also dealt with this challenging changeover in a very professional manner.

I was very impressed with the speed of communication and also the fact that the staff, Craig in particular, would take time to address queries and even go the extra mile with regards to recommending other local services and giving advice. GoogleWe are in the process of a move right in the middle of Christmas and as moves go the search was that bit more stressful with rental properties increasing after the pandemic it added to our stress. However both Sharon and Jemima, have been both professional, dilligent, calming and personable and added a real humane touch to the whole experience. GoogleWe recently purchased our house thanks to the fantastic team at Rochills! After a long search we found out perfect house and we’re delighted to have our offer accepted. Throughout the process the team were amazing in making things run smoothly. Most importantly they were great at keeping us updated and responding quickly to our messages. The team were always there to answer our calls and texts and guide us through the process. In particular we needed help and guidance with our solicitor and I was very impressed with how the team helped us and chased our solicitor for us. GoogleLikely the best and most conscientious service I've ever received from a business, let alone from an estate agent. What is usually one of the most stressful processes in life (apart from divorce, though fortunately I haven't had to go through this but if I ever do I would be tempted to hire Rochills as my solicitors!) was made to be easy - and genuinely enjoyable - by Marcel, Craig and the rest of the Rochills team. I spoke to numerous estate agents who I felt were trying to gain my business with generic pitches and overinflated what they could do/achieve with my property. Rochills took a completely different approach. It was honest, personable and tailored exactly to the current market and area. The negotiations with the buyers were dealt with expertly and competently, and all of this meant we received an offer of almost 10% over our asking price! They even provided specialist advice on all the details on the process from offer to completion. I really couldn't recommend Rochills enough; they are in a completely different class to every other estate agent I've ever worked with or spoken to and the team were a delight to work with.
