Awful experience as a renter. I really toyed with whether or not to write this review, but I hope that anyone who sees this will think twice before renting through Rochills. Throughout the rental, I can't really complain - most issues were seen to fairly promptly (although it is contracted that your rent will increase every year, so watch out for this!). However when the rental came to an end, they were just out to squeeze as much money from you as they can. They try and frame ware & tear as items that need 'compensation for the landlord', and do not communicate clearly in order to resolve any issues. If anyone else faces this, make sure you raise a dispute against Rochills with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme. I did and it was awarded in my favour, proving Rochills were being unreasonable and trying to take advantage of a good tenant who always paid rent on time and never caused any issues.

I’m really glad I used Rochills Estate Agent to buy my new house and I have to say Craig was truly exceptional in our home buying process in terms of making sure we were well informed and everything going well. Craig was ALWAYS available to answer any question and his responsiveness was incredible. If he didn’t pick up, he always made sure to call back once available. Seriously. I purchased a house that had some extra legal works so it wasn’t a straightforward deal but Craig was always on top of things and provided useful information every step of the way. Craig will work with you to make your desires a reality and he is also very well versed at dealing with Solicitors. His cool, calm mindset kept my anxiety low and gave me the confidence he would get the job done, even when it was taking a bit more time than normal (due to the extra legal works), and he did! His promptness, strategic mindset, kindness and good energy made a potentially chaotic purchase process simple. I’ve already recommended him to two of my good friends and when I am looking to buy again I will not hesitate to call him. Thank you Craig

The only reason I give the 2stars is that Jemina was very good when she showed us the property that we ve rent. Unfortunately this estate cares only about money and landlords. They don't care at all when you are a tenant. They don't look after tenants at all. Every time we needed their help for repairs inside the house we should chase them for months...VERY dissatisfied and disappointing as they should care more for the people who paying the rents..... Especially for tenants that they give very good care to the house that they rent....

I have been very disappointed with Rochils. There is not enough communication, I was renting an unfurnished property and on moving day got handed a part furnished property leaving us with no where for our current furniture. They gave extra keys for loft and storage which then they took away the day after. There were many many problems with the property which took them very long to fix. The list goes on… Too focused on the money and not about the property or tenants. Not professional and not enough communication between staff tenants and landlords.

I would highly recommend Rochills’ five-star service. I had the pleasure of purchasing my first home with Craig 12 years ago. If it wasn’t for his persistence and drive to introduce me to the right home, my buying journey would have been very different. In the very beginning of our property search, as first time buyers, we weren't sure what to do and what the process is. We've been online but lacked the knowledge or understanding that only someone competent would have. Walking into Rochills was the best thing we could have done. Craig greeted us and took us through the end to end property buying process, answered all our questions (even when those were financial, mortgage, decision-related - i.e. not property-related) and gave us sound advice on what we should do as first time buyers. He also recommended a mortgage broker which actually has been instrumental in our search for a property. That was 6 months ago. Since then, we've seen many properties with many different agencies and have settled on a property. As we have been having issues with our own estate agent, such as evasive behaviour, misleading information, general unhelfulness, I phoned back and spoke to Callum to ask for some more advice, which he gave, again, with no strings attached. I thought such service is extinct nowadays. I wish Rochills were the estate agents we've gone with! I couldn't recommend them enough.
