Amazing from start to finish. As a novice landlord, renting out my 2 bed flat in Walthamstow, I found the process from start to finish smooth, speedy and really reassuring. I have to specifically call our Manaan who found multiple suitable tenants and got me an excellent price, but also Nancy and Kodie who had me on the phone in various states of panic and who walked me through each stage and sorted everything. If you’re thinking of letting a property, I would highly recommend these guys to both market and manage it for you. Can’t thank them enough.

I wrote the review bellow almost 3 years ago. Unfortunately nothing changed. Their only contact with me house visits twice a year but even they can not managed to come the appointments on time. I just got a visit. She came quite late I told here I was expecting you much earlier. Here answer was yeah I knocked the wrong door. How professional it is .I would give no star but google doesn't allow me I don’t know where to start .I have been renting house from them since 2014 but it is not they are amazing just I get on well with my landlord. Otherwise I didn’t see any positive work from them. Example the person they sent for boiler check messed up my boiler and when I told it was the engineer mistake they told me there is a peruse problem in my area. They came another time and told me that there is an expensive part broken and in the boiler and it has to be change. However when another engineer came from insurance company they just fixed the pressure. So I said I have been renting quite while .I couldn’t have a time to make an appointment for regular check. Now they are telling me that they will come and enter my home by themself.I made a free time by squeezing my schedule and now they emailed me that they can’t and they will enter my home .At the and all the think which I got from nice landlord but ,I believe it was just a luck I

When I decided to sell my flat, I chose Central because they had done a good job of selling my neighbours’ flat. That flat (in an identical house) had a loft extension and James, who did my valuation, explained to me that that’s how they will market my flat, by showcasing its potential for extension. This actually included sending pictures of my neighbours’ flat to potential buyers. He asked me if the loft belonged to the flat, and when I said no, he explained that to extend it, it will be necessary to buy it from the freeholder, which costs about £10,000. Unfortunately, Central chose not to share this information with the couple who made an offer on my flat (why put them off?!). They obviously knew that the buyers would find out eventually, having spent thousands of pounds on a mortgage application, survey, and a solicitor. And, of course, this would make them a lot more inclined to pursue the purchase. It also makes them inclined to try and reduce the price (understandably so, as they were ultimately cheated out of £10,000!). I guess it was in preparation for this that Central tried to blame ME for the situation once the buyers found out, something along the lines of “The buyers said it was nothing that we said but they talked to you” (Well done, Katie!). Yes, I had a chat with them as they had arrived early for their viewing, and apparently, it was then that I jumped at the opportunity to boast about my loft ownership (as I haven’t seen or spoken to them since)! And no, I will not be able to reduce the price as I then wouldn’t have enough money for my onward purchase. This is the great professionalism and excellent customer service you get from Central, for the ‘few thousand pounds’ that they expect you to pay them!

A bunch of overly aggressive liars and slimey con men who will tell you anything to make you part with your money. Put my house on the market with them and they promised to sell it for a high price, then one week later put it down to a much lower price and blamed me for the fact no one was interested in it when it was priced way too high! Then spouted off a bunch of made up garbage about how the price of my place was going to crash (it then went up considerably!) and imminent interest rate rises (they still haven't gone up 5 years later...) meant I had to sell right now or I'd be ruined. They really are the lowest of the low (especially Richard and Danny in sales, a pair of lying sleazebags), do yourself a favour and use another estate agent, Central Estates are the worst agency I've encountered, avoid like the plague. EDIT: Dear Neil from Central Estates, regarding your response below, I would like to say my review was actually GENUINE. I use an alias for privacy purposes, it is not uncommon on the internet. Trying to dismiss me as a rival competitor is tedious and makes you look foolish....if I was trying to do this then surely I'd use a regular name like Dave Smith or try to find the name of one of your former customers and use their name? I wrote the review because I was highly dissatisified with my experience with Central, not to tarnish your name...judging by the comments below plenty of other people have also had bad experiences with you and your "good name" hardly needs tarnishing as it's already tarnished enough. I have no interest in contacting you or speaking to you again, I just wrote a review so that nice people could be forewarned avoid the bad experiences I've experienced as a result of working with you.

I was first drawn to Central Estate Agents by the awesome Welcome video on the website! It looked to me like they went to the extra effort to make sure their clients understood what was going on. I was not let down to say the least! I enjoyed the process of selling my home and it wasnt stressfull st all, as I had expected it to be. I was very sceptic with the reviews I have read about central but gave them a go anyway. I must say Katie was extremely polite and buying a house from them went very smoothly. I was kept up to date with the transaction and kept well informed with the paper work. This is my first time using central estates and will recommend them to friends and family. Excellent from start to finish! The rental market is really crazy at the moment, but Central were by far the best estate agents I dealt with. Manaan in particular was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and I believe what he doesn’t know about E17 & E10 isn’t worth knowing. As a native to the borough myself, I really appreciated having someone who knew the area and the different properties inside and out. In the end, after several fruitless viewings across two months, it was through Central I was able secure the flat I’m living in now - a testament to their efficiency and processes!
