We take all feedback very seriously and would love the opportunity to discuss this with you directly, and although we may not change your views on this hopefully explaining our business story will help you appreciate a little more about who we are and what we do, also why we do it the way we do it! For what it is worth we have had many first time buyers purchase through us that have then gone on to resell the property through us since our formation thus 'earning' the cost back in a way. Also we went down this route of our model to be purposely different to the 'usual' and in the market, well in any market since we started have been successful. The FreeAgent247 Sales Director (SD), Gerard Smith, was instructed to promptly investigate this google review. The SD reports as follows. The SD personally received a Rightmove viewing request from the Reviewer for a certain property at 18.59pm on the 9th January. At that specific time he was engaged in other matters but had noted the enquiry and was looking forward to respond. FreeAgent247 received this 1-Star review at 7.15pm the same evening. The SD telephoned the Reviewer the next morning. The SD apologised that he had not been immediately available to respond to the Reviewers enquiry. The SD thanked the Reviewer for his review, particularly to recognise that an innocent error had been made on the property details that were immediately amended. The Reviewer advised that in fact his review was prompted primarily by a failure of communication a year ago. He advised that at that time, 2021 it is understood, that he had contacted FreeAgent247 on multiple occasions regards a property and had had no response. The SD apologised. The SD assured the Reviewer that we welcome critique of our performance and services at any and all times so that we can learn and improve. The SD now looks forward to greeting the Reviewer personally at his newly requested viewing, this weekend. Hi Craig, thank you for your comment. We appreciate all feedback. I would just like to point out though that our clients have the option to either pay the fee themselves or instruct us to obtain from buyer. We bought this to the open market some 6 years ago and there are now many variations of buyer paying some sort of fee at different stages models. Ours is very transparent when we handle it this way and nothing is paid up until completion. We did this to be innovate and purposely different and we continually strive to challenge the 'norm' by design, so we do find comments of this nature unnecessarily hurtful :( remember there is a person and a team working hard behind this to make things work and create opportunity.
