GoogleThis is the second time we've used Cromwells (we purchased last time, and have now sold), and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!
All the way from the start of the valuation process, getting on the market, locking in a buyer, and chasing all the necessary parties, the whole team have really put the effort in without any grumbling and performing to an extremely high standard. Communication has been excellent, everyone really friendly and willing to take the time to explain what was going on at various stages of the process. Their knowledge of the rapidly changing market (specifically inflated prices causing mortgage offers to fall through) was excellent as well, and having all the info up front allowed us to list and sell at a fair market rate without any surprises.
If you're considering buying one of their properties, or listing with Cromwells, don't think about it anymore... just do it!

GoogleWe recently sold our property via Cromwells in Wallington. What a breathe of fresh air it was to deal with real and honest agents for once.
After shopping around and receiving several other valuations, we eventually decided on Cromwells. Although they didn’t give us the highest valuation, I just immediately clicked with the agent Sam. He gave me the time of day, despite how obviously busy he was, unlike other agents. I felt like I was seen as a person, not a % of commission.
Cromwells arranged a seamless open day, where we received some immediate offers. After some consideration we eventually accepted the highest offer from a young couple.
Sales progression was moving smoothly and then the COVID and stamp duty holiday storm hit! Despite being ‘off the market’ offers on our house continued to roll in, however my partner and I felt a moral obligation to honour our original buyer’s offer, which was echoed by the advice from Cromwells. This confirmed my reasons for choosing Cromwells in the first place.
Anyone who has moved house knows how much of an arduous and emotional experience it can be and I’m glad we had the team at Cromwells helping us through it! I really can’t recommend them enough, especially for the honest people out there with integrity!PositiveProfessionalism

GoogleSelling my house was not straightforward and I was glad to have Cromwells on my side. They were professional throughout, as well as helpful, friendly and responsive. Whenever there was a problem Cromwells were there to solve it and set the selling process back in motion. (Actually, a visit to their Wallington office was always a pleasure!)
It took nearly a year to sell my house (thanks, Covid!) and Cromwells were supportive from start to finish. Whenever I rang them there was always somebody to respond, even if the person I wanted wasn't available. I never had to ring twice with the same query. Financially they were the best choice of estate agent (highest valuation, lowest commission) but the best reason for choosing them was the quality of the individuals who work there. Since no one contacted me, I called them up today and I was told that another offer has been accepted. Without informing me if my offer has been accepted or rejected which is their legal obligation, they have gone and accepted another offer. At the time you made your offer you were clearly told the owner has just rejected an offer higher than the one you put in on the property and that the offer would not be accepted. You did not want to increase as you said and I quote "you would only offer £230,000 due to the works needed on the property". The owner happily accepted a higher offer. I'm sorry you feel you have to put in a bad review just because you missed out this property, but we tried to advise you at the time you submitted your offer. By law all offers have to be put forward to the owner so please feel free to increase your offer and I will put this to the owner. Many thanks. The Cromwells Team.

GoogleLaziest estate agents ever! Homeowners don’t use this agency if you want to sell your property at the best price. I’m a buyer and I’ve literally been hassling these agents to view two properties that I’m really interested in and nobody ever comes back to me. And the crazy thing is, one of the properties I’ve been trying to view (is still not sold) has now been reduced in price twice even though I’ve been wanting to view it and am a serious buyer. I wonder whether the vendors are aware that they are being told to reduce the price of their home but yet the agents are ignoring potential buyers who have expressed interest in viewing!
Absolutely ludicrous. Never have I experienced a situation where the buyer has to hassle the estate agent. I certainly wouldn’t ever use them if I had a property to sell, after experiencing how inefficient and lazy they are from a potential buyers perspective

I contacted the agents because they had a house that fit what I was looking for, and after seeing the house I contacted by email the same day stating that I would like to rent the house, the next morning I called and said that I would like to rent the house, I waited for the contact of Mr. Martin all day, nobody called me, today 22/11/2019 again I called wondering about the house and was informed that the house had rented, without professionalism, without ethics, without respect for the client, they should give me a satisfaction, I felt a little prejudice for not being British. I had already attended the agency 2 weeks ago personally and after I left I realized that they had only noted my name, how would they contact me? Their criteria is the clothes someone wears? Because the money is the same, neither my profession nor my husband's was asked. Sad to see that even today people are judged, I do not recommend this agency to anyone.

This property was very popular and a number of people were already booked and interested. We did not contact everyone only the first few to begin with at the owners request, so to blame us for the owners decision is very unfair. We work for the owner who was happy with one of the applicants that they showed round and met in person. The property was let to someone almost immediately. I would also like to point out that we are in no one prejudice and enjoy a multicultural environment both with the public and our staff. We will obviously try and help you where we can should another property become available.

GoogleThe best estate agents I have come across ever and I’ve moved and bought and sold 8 times...I had three different estate agents in Wallington come and value my house and I just knew as soon as I met Samuel that I would be going with Cromwell’s.. compared to the other agents That came he was realistic and spot on with sale price.. he was also helpful and genuine and not pushy . Jaz, Mitzi and sally did a great job chasing up sale and we’re always so helpful, polite and courteous and most of all Genuine and we’re a pleasure to Work with.
If I were selling again I would always go with. Cromwell's as you get a Five star service from all the staff there.. I wouldn’t bother with anyone else.
