GoogleDon't expect these guys to help you out if your landlord is refusing to help with repairs or basic upkeep. They won't care if it takes months for them to get around to giving you basic necessities even if the landlord is breaking the law, and if you ask them enough times to help they'll just stop taking your calls. Find somewhere that actually cares about tenants' basic human rights and avoid Harper & Woods like the plague.

GoogleAbsolutely disgusting behaviour from the staff at this agents, if you want to be spoken to like a piece of dirt then this is the company to deal with. Do not answer your calls, and give you the complete run around. glad my property is not on the market with these. More professional agent ls out there !! Communication is awful.
the vendor wasnt concerned at all. we spoke to him around a month ago on his drive when they were preparing the property to put on the market and said if we ever wanted to have a look let him know.
after calling your office and being told from your staff that he has an offer but was still having viewing as there was a long chain involved so you were willing to gazump the current bidder also providing you and the vender got a better deal or were able to receive your commission sooner.
as people will be able to see from your reply you are unprofessional.
the vendor asked us to contact yourselves and he was taking it off the market and said himself he doesnt understand what he is paying you for as you did not return any of our calls.
thanks for the well wishes we now have found the perfect home and thankfully dealing with a professional service

Thank you for your review although I am bitterly disappointed in this and find it unjust. Just to clarify the situation in full, you visited a home privately (not through our company), a home that was already sale agreed to another client and had been for over three and a half weeks. You expressed your interest to the seller (again privately and not through his nominated agent, ourselves) in gazumping the existing buyer. The seller contacted us personally the following day to express his worries and that he was unsure how to approach the situation as you had gone direct to him. We advised him that the decision rested entirely with him as to what he wished to do but we did express to him that the existing buyer had become financially invested in the purchase. We also offered to make another set of calls to check that everything was still progressing nicely as it had been throughout so far. We did this and passed on the information to the seller that all was ok and very much progressed within the chain below. Again, we mentioned to the seller that it was his decision as to what he wanted to do. He went away and then came back to us and said that he would like to do the honourable thing and stick with the existing buyer. He then relayed this information to you and unfortunately this wasn't to your liking. We are sorry that you did not like the news that the seller didn't wish to allow someone to be gazumped (which is heavily frowned upon in most peoples eyes) but unfortunately this has absolutely nothing to do with us as a company. To summarise, you didn't view the home through our agency as you went direct to the client and the seller made the decision to continue with the existing buyer. I wish you all the best with your search.

This they succeeded brilliantly to completion after tirelessly looking after both ourselves and the buyers through the uncertain COVID-19 initial lockdown times. Even when the sale was stalling due to outside agencies, Nicola and the rest of the H&W sales team kept the buyers interested and on track for their purchase until eventually (some months after agreeing the sale) contracts were exchanged. A great job, even when the chips were down and the sale was dragging on, other teams may have faltered, but not Harper & Woods. May you always be successful. GoogleWe were renting with Harper and Woods for about 7 months. I don’t have much positive to say about them or their team, to be honest. When communicating with any member of staff, we received rude and hostile responses with absolutely no customer service or manners. Over the course of these 7 months, we had to bring up some problems with the property to our landlords. These problems never got passed onto our landlords in a timely manner, with myself or my partner chasing their status multiple times. As a result, we ended up communicating directly with our landlords so we did not have to involve Harper and Woods as it made the process a lot more difficult that it needed to be. Our landlords have now dissolved their association with Harper and Woods, and we received an extremely blunt letter in the post from this team to let us know. The lack of customer service and human-ness in this letter was shocking, which is another example of their poor communication style. Additionally, we were incorrectly invoiced for an extra month of rent. After raising this with the team to remove the invoice from our account, I received no response from them. I chased this up for a second time to get confirmation and was met with a very rude email from the Office Manager, which lacked any confirmation and told me to ‘just check the tenant portal’. If I had the option to rent or buy with this team in the future, I would absolutely avoid due to this unpleasant experience. Unfortunately, it is safe to say I am glad we don’t need to deal with them any longer.
