The team then went ahead and handled all aspects of the sale to conclusion keeping me well informed throughout. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bakewell & Horner

I repeatedly asked about if a advertisied property was for sale had requested viewing canceled on the morning then I was told flat has sold stc only to see it still on the market emails ignored etc you wonder how they sell property.. Terrible customer service

GoogleJust completed sale of our house, couldn’t of done it without Victoria and the staff at Bakewell & Horner. They have taken “some” of the stress out of moving house. Communication is excellent, they dealt with solicitor’s from all sides to make it happen ( can’t say I am a fan of solicitor’s after this experience). Using a local estate agent was the best choice we made. Thank you all especially Victoria.

GoogleMy experience was really good today. I got a confirmation text for the viewing yesterday and today Dave rang me to confirm and to make sure I knew how to find the front door which was really helpful. He met me on time, showed me round and gave me the application form and information.

GoogleI have just had the worst service from the lettings team at wallasey !! I applied for a property was honest about a ccj at the point of application they rejected us for said ccj which ends 2024. Apparently according to the team if u have adverse credit you are more likely to destroy the property. This was not the only insult we received. Also in the same hour reduced the rental price by £150!! Pcm I did things the right way had all paperwork including working guarantor which turned out to be absolutely pointless they still wouldn't pass us on to landlord. This is not the first time we have had poor service from this team.

Thank you for your review however, in the case of any referencing, all CCJ'S must be declared. You did not declare any CCJ with our referencing company therefore you were not acceptable. In some cases some CCJ are accepted but not in this case and certainly non declared in the first instance. The landlord has cleary stated to us, he will not accept you as a tenant due to your financial circumstances.

GoogleI’d like to say my experience with Bakewell and Horner has been nothing but top class, I was in a pickle due to my living arrangement and one of the estate agents called Anthony single handedly helped me get a house, if it weren’t for him I wouldn’t have a house right now, so definitely use Bakewell and Horner, because they will take time out of their day and go out their way to help you get what you need.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleRuss came out to value my property and it was listed on the market the next day. Victoria called me and booked my first viewing two days later and I received a full asking price offer! The whole selling process took 6 weeks from start to finish and I am over the moon with the service I received. I couldn't recommend them enough :)

GoogleEDIT- in response to the feedback left below. From the moment we called about the mess, they never said it was not their responsibly and said they would sort it. They also fail to address their poor communication throughout (by other reviews this seems to be an ongoing issue) and the fact they called me in work and made me cry. We could of handled the complaint through the solicitors from the start, this was not the advice we were given by their staff, then too much time had now passed and we needed the house to be cleared so we could actually do the work we needed and move on with our lives, they are well aware it was more than just the garage that had rubbish as they have seen the pictures. Left them a poor but extremely fair review a few weeks ago. One of the things I complained about was how they never call you, you always have to chase them. Ironically after I left the review they called me! However they called me in work and were extremely confrontational about the review, to the point where I started crying. After my husband called to complain about this, we were under the impression we would now be helped, as miraculously the person they couldn’t get hold of to come round came within half an hour. We were then made to feel that we would be helped more sufficiently if we took the review down, we reluctantly did. But surprise surprise since we took the review down we haven't heard a thing. So we’ve put it back up. Really disappointing, we have now had to fork out £160 of our own money to sort a problem that should be sorted within an appropriate time of us moving in.

Thank you for you review. However we feel this is completely something that you and your solicitor should have dealt with. Rubbish left at the property garage is not a responsibility of us the agent to check. We did all we can to assist and worked hard to try and solve the matter. We would have arranged viewings up until exchange so that you could have ensured the garage was clear, you had full access. We do not inspect a property before the sale completes. Your grievance should be with the seller and not us but, we will gracefully accept your mis directed review.

GoogleI have rented twice through Bakewell and Horner and to say their service is impeccable is an understatement. Any issues I had with the property itself, the team were quick to have it resolved. The team in the office are so friendly, approachable and most importantly professional. I get the impression that their main focus is the tenants/landlords and basically anyone they provide a service too, they provide it with a brilliant attitude as well as knowledge and understanding. It is very clear to me, having been with other estate agents in the past that Bakewell and Horner are top of the game and the best around. Thank you for everything. I would recommend time and time again!!
