GoogleJust sold our house through Bakewell and Horner and I couldn’t be happier with the service I got from them! Victoria came to see me for the valuation and initial discussion and was very friendly and helpful. Steve came out the next day to take the photos and video and did an amazing job, I was so happy with them! Almost as soon as the house went live we got lots of bookings and Victoria showed them round. The first to view bought the house and we were kept up to date the whole time. Victoria, Steve and Anthoney took my calls, chased up people and were at times an intermediary for our solicitors, who were useless and caused endless amounts of stress. I can’t recommend them enough! 5*

GoogleWe moved house in Jan 2023 and Bakewell & Horner where the sellers estate agents. We didn't have too much involvement with these until near the end but I was asked to leave a review. I spoke to 2 people one was a Man (don't remember his name) who was quite understanding and polite at every call. One was a woman called Vicky who both me and my husband found to be very abrupt. I feel her attitude towards myself was just totally unnecessary. Moving house as we discovered for us was one of the most stressful things we have had to do. Just relying on lots of different people/companies to get things done. We had a mortgage broker company we had paid a lot for and they where really taking their time and messing us around. Vicky would be chasing for an update a few times a week which is totally fine but a few things she said where really abrasive and just made my really bad anxiety totally worse. For example 'things like ''well the seller will have to put the house back on the market soon''. As if it was our fault that the delay was happening! When we where chasing things almost daily from our broker. I actually left one phone call in tears so maybe a bit more customer service training is needed here. Like I said whenever I got through to the man he always made me feel calmer about the situation it was just Vicky that seemed to make out the whole process was going to fall through.

I recently had a disappointing experience with Bakewell Horner. One of staff misled me regarding their agent fee, claiming that their website states a minimum charge of £1,250 plus VAT. However, when I checked their website, I found no mention of a minimum charge. They emphasize that their agent fee is transparent, at only 1% plus VAT, with no hidden fees.

Update : Stop lying as I called you numerous times and sent you a number of emails. You keep posting photos of houses on internet just to look busy. Of course you will not find me in your data base because you don`t want to find me. Perhaps I should record and upload on you tube so that everyone can see. Stay away from this place.
