I had a really positive experience with MoveNow Properties in Wakefield when I had rented one of their properties in Chantry Waters, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a property to rent or exploring property purchase options in and around Wakefield.
What really stood out to me was the wide variety of flats and properties available, along with the quality of customer service throughout the process. There were plenty of options to consider, and the team was always approachable, helpful and genuinely interested in finding the right property rather than simply rushing through the process.
A special mention has to go to Gemma, Billie and the wider team, who were fantastic throughout. Gemma and her team were particularly proactive when responding to queries and following up on matters relating to the flat rental. Communication was clear, timely and professional, which made the whole experience much easier and less stressful.
Gemma, Billie and the entire team have been excellent points of contact and really good representatives of the business. Their professionalism, responsiveness and willingness to help genuinely made a difference. It's refreshing to deal with a property company where the customer experience actually feels like a priority.

GoogleAvoid this estate agent at all costs! My experience with Gemma Carter (Assistant Manager) and Samantha Moate (Managing Director) has been appalling. The boiler hasn’t worked properly since I moved in, and I was told to buy an oil heater at my own expense and wait 23 days for a repair. A collapsed roof with water dripping onto electricals wires was met with no urgency. Gemma failed to address these critical issues, and Samantha called me to discuss the problems but was rude, hostile, and talked over me the entire time. They clearly think it’s acceptable to live in a property with a non-functioning boiler, a leaking roof, and mould and damp throughout. The property was clearly not checked before being rented out, leaving my daughter and me in unsafe and uninhabitable conditions. Their lack of professionalism and disregard for tenant welfare is disgraceful, this so-called 'estate agent' should be ashamed of how they treat their tenants.
I've attached pictures of the boiler that the Managing Director claimed was not on the inventory report, and also some pictures as to how the property was on day 1.

GoogleIt's not fair on someone who's trying to look for a property and I've been doing this for nearly two years. And I don't think it's very fair that you don't get accepted for a property because the landlord doesn't like people on benefits. And that's what it feels like. But if they don't want to give someone a chance to prove themselves, how are they meant to prove themselves? But it feels like you're getting classified as thethey need to work on their landlords and know how long you have to wait, I nearly waited six weeks for a property. And the landlord couldn't even make up his mind who he wanted and I don't think that was fair on me never get a chance to have a property, never get a chance with this company they just don't like people on benefits. I'm very disappointed, very upset. And I feel like I've been let down. And if this company carries on the way they're treating people, I am just going to report it to the council.
