Disappointed, we learned our house purchase had fallen through at the point of us being ready to exchange on our property. We found out that the office had known about it and left it to the agent, who had been looking after us, to tell us after she came back from annual leave! We never got a reason for the purchase to fall through and they even tried delaying us putting an offer in on another property. Luckily this was with another agent and we trusted our gut as the trust with Hunters had gone. 7 weeks later we were in our new home. Felt let down and disappointed with Hunters. This was our first and last time dealing with them.

I must say Hunters in Castleford have been amazing ! Our house sale is still going through but I would like to say a huge thanks to the team ! Mehak Ali has been so great at keeping us in the loop and not once have we had to chase anything up she was always one step ahead ! Keira Wiles also and Sally Arrowsmith thanks so much for all your help ! Danielle was also lovely too in keeping us up to date with things ! Avoid with all cost!

Rented an apartment they told me it was deep cleaned before handing over the keys and everything would be fixed etc nothing was cleaned blood on walls mould in all rooms had a faulty/leaky boiler very slack on emails no communication in there office also they was very rude over the phone we never moved into the property due to all the damages and mould etc I was willing to give up my first months rent and for them to send me back the deposit but they refused to send anything back I would highly do not recommend this company/agancey to rent/buy a property from they are useless and slack

"Avoid Hunters Property Management, Inefficient, Rude, and Unprofessional"My experience with Hunters Property Management has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. They have consistently demonstrated poor service, inefficiency, and a dismissive attitude towards tenant concerns.Ineffective Issue Resolution: Hunters fails to handle even basic maintenance issues. For example, a heating issue during winter was passed to the landlord without any attempt to troubleshoot. I had to step in and take personal risks to resolve the problem myself, only to discover it was a simple battery replacement. Their inability to perform even basic triage highlights their lack of professionalism and problem-solving capabilities.Creating Gaps Between Tenants and Landlords: Instead of acting as a competent mediator, Hunters merely relays messages between tenants and landlords, causing delays and unnecessary misunderstandings. This approach has damaged the relationship between myself and the landlord, as the agency often fails to communicate effectively or accurately.Rude and Dismissive Behavior: The staff frequently respond to concerns with a dismissive tone, making tenants feel unsupported and undervalued. Their arrogant demeanor gives the impression that addressing tenant concerns is a favor rather than their responsibility.Neglecting Tenant Safety and Comfort: Health and safety issues, such as rat infestations and malfunctioning alarms, were not addressed promptly, despite the serious risks they posed. The lack of urgency in handling these matters has caused significant stress and discomfort for my family.Minimal Value Added: Hunters operates more like a messenger than a property management service. They fail to provide meaningful solutions and seem content to pass the burden of responsibility onto others, leaving tenants to fend for themselves.Overall, Hunters Property Management has proven to be unprofessional, inefficient, and dismissive. My partner and myself used Hunters in Castleford to sell 2 properties for us. We mainly dealt with Lisa Horsey and Tyler who were extremely good at keeping us upto date which was fantastic as our solicitor was hopeless. Both Lisa and Tyler did alot of chasing in our behalf and without them we wouldn’t have known what was happening. Highly recommend Hunters to anyone wishing to sell a property. I came to Holly at Hunters after a horrific experience with Strike & Holly was very quick & efficient at getting the ball rolling I had my house valued immediately Holly was very thorough about the whole process and never pushed me into anything (which I liked!!). She made me feel at ease & had my property photographed and up for sale within days (probably 24hours!!) I was extremely impressed. We then had viewings booked and sold the house within three days of being on the market. The whole process was so easy! Can’t Thank Holly at Hunters enough for her efforts. I have dealt with Hunters Castleford for around 17 months now and from start to finish they have given nothing but first class service. They did an amazing job of selling my house & I couldn’t of asked for more. Each individual person who helped with my house put so much time an effort into finding a buyer for me. Despite having a few knock backs along the way, they always quickly got people in to view my property, sharing it along social media to get as much interest as possible.
