My wife and I recently sold our property through Richard Kendall's Wakefield branch. (Northgate, Wakefield) We had bought a house at auction so we needed a quick sale to the right buyer. Daniel came out and valued our house at a price we were both happy with and within the first week we had about 12 viewings and 5 offers. One of these offers was £11k above our asking price which we were obviously delighted with. The next hurdle was the 56 day time frame we had to complete the sale of our home and the purchase from the auction. My wife and I both feel that this would not have been achieved without the hard work of the Kendall's team but we would both like to thank Amanda and Joanne especially! Without the hard work these two stars put in we would not be in our new home now. They kept us constantly updated and were fantastic with chasing up our buyer, our buyers solicitors and everyone else they needed to to get this over the line. Hopefully we will not be selling again anytime soon but if anyone is looking for an estate agent I cannot recommend Kendall's highly enough - I have only given them 5 stars as it wont let me give them 6! Recently purchased a property through Richard Kendall estate agents, Wakefield and dealt with Karen Preece exclusively throughout the purchase. I found her to be very thorough and professional in my contacts with her and very prompt in addressing issues I raised. I have to say that the experience and service we had from RK selling our house was first class from start to finish. We had a few people come and value our house but the gent who came from RK was efficient, friendly and told us what we needed to know without giving us the hard sell. From then on we were looked after by Karen and like every house move there was ups and downs but the weekly catch up call from Karen was invaluable. We put our house on the market in October and completed in June, Joanne and Amanda went above and beyond from start to finish. Through chains falling through to solicitors making huge errors that caused a delay that resulted in us exchanging at 4pm and completing the following day, Amanda and Joanne continually contacted the entire chain and their respective solicitors to constantly push things to achieve the completion date and kept us in the loop throughout. Can not Fault Richard Kendalll at all absolutely amazing, looked to buy my first ever buy to let property. Karen Preece was absolutely amazing so prompt with replied and she also give me weekly update was soo engaging, can not fault her at all. I want on holiday and she was soo accommodating in terms of efficient replies via email at all sorts of times. AND guess what she was soo efficient and gave me the news that the keys was ready for collect before my Solicitors. Largest estate agents in Wakefield, have had unpleasant experience, so now avoid. Quite a common story it seems. Biggest is not necessarily the best. -------------------------------------------------------- Reply to "Response from the owner". My surname is not that common, it should searchable in your records. I don't know what you mean by "recent", certainly within the last 2-3 years. The reason I reviewed you now is that Google asked me to, and I thought that was a good idea given my experience. I see no need to call you directly, we conversed by email directly at the time, and obviously nothing was cleared up as I still have the same negative view that I had then. You cannot expect the review system to work solely in your favour, the practice of discrediting the reviewer and then taking the conversation "offline" stinks, I would prefer people who are seeking honest reviews to see the full story.

Really pleased with the service Donna and Suzanne have provided. They kept on top of the listing and suggested new photos to help assist with the sale which worked a treat. Throughout they kept in touch and updated us with how our sale was progressing. From getting the offer accepted in February to completing in March, the whole thing took just 6 weeks! Both teams were brilliant, super efficient and always happy to help. Dealt with both the rental and house buying side of Richard Kendall and all I have to say is NEVER again. Completely messed about for weeks, got lied to, passed around multiple estate agents that have no idea of anything. Today was the last straw with this company. Knowing we were travelling 30-40 mins for a house viewing and cancelling on us 10 minutes before. We were already stood outside. If the house has sold why book us to view it? Complete stupidity. They're always a good 20-30 mins late to a house viewing. Honestly the worst estate agents I have dealt with yet. I've lost all respect for this company and will actively avoid anything to do with Richard Kendall going forward. AVOID AVOID AVOID!! Honestly save yourself the hassle. There's a reason Richard Kendall have a 2.3/5 score on Trust Pilot. Good bye & good riddance to dealing with your God awful company.
