Our house sale was fraught with challenges with a long chain of houses in several parts of the UK and a string of difficult solicitors. But our agent, Elizabeth Cooke, went above and beyond to keep us informed, advocate on our behalf and (more than once) save the chain from collapse. We are so so grateful. Richard Kendal estate agents over many years have built up a reputation for being reliable, efficient and a successful seller of local properties in the Wakefield. Several months ago I recommended them to a friend who wanted to sell her bungalow as quick as possible. On that score they delivered with flying colours, finding a buyer within a week of it going on the market. However, things have gone rapidly downhill since then. My friend used their appointed solicitors, which in hindsight was a very big mistake. From the good, it turned bad, now it's moving to the third stage, ugly. These so called legal experts in property sales, are one big embarrassing joke. Delay after delay, excuse upon excuse, and non existent communication skills. Quoting a PATHETIC service is been very kind to this mottley outfit, so anyone considering using this reasonable estate agent, do yourself a big favour, don't use their extremely inept, inadequate and unprofessional legal team, get your own, otherwise the good feel factor will quickly turn very sour with the unacceptable delays and atrocious customer service.
