The whole system of purchasing and selling in England needs a complete overhaul.
Whilst we fully appreciate your frustrations with the property transaction process in England, we were disappointed to receive a 2-star review given your direct feedback to Amanda thanking her for her hard work and support throughout the transaction. The issues raised in your review relate largely to the wider conveyancing and property transaction system, which unfortunately sits beyond the control of our business. Our role is to do everything we can to keep transactions moving, keep all parties informed, and help overcome obstacles as they arise, and we believe we fulfilled that role despite the complications within the chain.

I experienced a vigilant approach however I couldn't really see the difference this role had on the sale process. There we no measurable means to see that having a person going between the respective legal reps made any tangible difference to the process. On one occasion I was contacted to enquire about the timeline for exchange to completion. I saw no grounds for this seeing that my solicitor was dealing with the matter and I declined to discuss when I'm paying a solicitor and they can take my instruction on the matter.

Although my advisor at asap was very nice this review isn’t based on her more the over all experience. I found ASAP to be a rather pointless middleman that confused communication and added problems rather than solutions. It also resulted in me doing a lot of my own correspondence to solicitors. After the transaction I still don’t really understand what asap were there for or how they helped but the transaction is over now and I’ll miss speaking to my ‘advisor’ each week!

Overall experience was great and team was responsive but the guidelines and process are long as it too long time for small queries as it goes to one end via solicitors everytime as I didn't able to provide any prior notice to my current landlord as contract exchange done 2 days before moving and I want minimum one month in advance but everything is processes and we can't say much. Hoping that this will be done more quickly as per buyer's perspective and all the search and everything will be done before viewing by seller's side and payments can be done by buyer later on in future to save time as these are mandactory steps and can be done earlier as well to save time. Thanking you hennah haywood law and asap for understanding my situation and helping me for quick processes.

Not sure what the role of this company is. Our estate agent ended up having to liase with all parties as all we ever got was a weekly email saying a note had been applied to the system ‘have attempted to call solicitors, no answer so have emailed”. Never a follow up on any replies to emails. Our estate agent and ourselves had to do all the changing to “complete ASAP”. The only time I got any reply was when I copied our estate agent in. Complete waste of money for any estate agents or clients using this company.
