Assured Sale and Progression Ltd were contracted to the estate agent through whom I bought & sold. I really could not have been less impressed with them. I am of the opinion that the "sales progressor" with whom I dealt did not seem to do anything. The company uses a system named Hoowla which their sales progressor updates with the sales progression information. It became apparent that this system had been updated to reflect progress that had not, in reality, occurred. At one point the sales progressor who had been allocated to my case did not look at the case on Hoowla over a period of three weeks (the system shows the viewer when the Sales Progressor looks at the case). Eventually I complained to the estate agent and they took over the progression from ASAP and later told me they had ended their contract with them.

Tara was brilliant at keeping the momentum going to complete our house sale, without her assistance the conveyancing process could have dragged on for ages. It was very useful to hear from both the sales and purchasing solicitors to understand where we were at each stage. Very good comms and would highly recommend if wanting to complete at tight timescales.

Selling houses today is completely different to four years ago. I have nothing bad to say about your staff. However your procedure needs to be rewritten. You act as an intermediary, however you don’t inform your client. So your client goes directly to the solicitor as your procedures omit you from taking part.
Thank you for your feedback. We do act as an intermediary throughout the process, but we work closely alongside the solicitor handling your transaction rather than replacing that relationship. It’s quite natural for clients to have direct contact with their solicitor, as they’re responsible for the legal side of the sale, while we focus on progressing and coordinating everything overall. That said, it’s disappointing to hear that you’ve felt we’ve been removed from the process, as that’s not the experience we aim to provide. We’ll take this on board and review how clearly we’re communicating our role at the start of the transaction and throughout. We had the pleasure of Laura Moody assisting us while purchasing our first home, Laura, along with the ladies who helped while she was off, were always so quick at notifying us when an update came in and managed to give us fast responses whenever we had questions! Coming up to exchange our chain got a little complicated and Laura managed it perfectly - relaying information and messages on all sides, while keeping calm and reassuring us that it would get sorted. Her communication with the agents was also amazing and we can’t thank them all enough for keeping us in the loop and getting our purchase completed before our deadline.

As a first time buyer one of the most important things to us was being kept up to date on the progress of our purchase. Lucy Byng and the team were fantastic and updating us throughout the process, and chasing all necessary parties to ensure key milestones were accomplished.
