Just wanted to leave a review for Caroline Legge at Davis Tate. Caroline is our property manager and has been great from the moment we moved into the property. Caroline ensured our move in was seamless and moved items out of the flat to allow us more space/ to make the space our own. We have been in the property for over a year now and have had to contact Caroline for a few maintenance issues, Caroline has always responded so quickly and acted upon our problems, often our issue is resolved that same day. When we have met Caroline she has always been approachable and friendly and is always keen to help us where she can. Thank you Caroline!

Bring a first time buyer, there were a few bumps on the way, however the service recieved from Kathryn and John was superb. I had very little interaction with Kathryn initially, as she was new to the role, however the dealings i did have with her towards the end of my purchase were extremley hands on, efficient and professional. Davis Tate, and in particular their lettings negotiator Dominic, have been exceptional throughout the entire process of letting a property. The efficiency in communication, along with having one single point of contact, is very helpful, even more so when there are several moving parts involved during the process of acquiring a new tenancy. In addition to this, Dominic’s understanding of our circumstances, which I would imagine are fairly unique, and his subsequent management of such has been exemplary. Having now dealt with three separate agents, all of which have been based in Abingdon over the last 8-9 years, I can say with certainty that Davis Tate have been the easiest, most friendly and efficient I have encountered. I would happily recommend their services to both family and friends.

Beware, this is a company for scammer

We bought a property via Davis Tate, and the experience was horrendous. Estate agent was not responsive, it was difficult to agree on a completion date because of lack of answers and when we finally moved in, the seller had completely trashed the place. They've systematically sided with the seller on every issues and slowed down our attempts to recover what was lost. Beware, this is a company for scammers. Avoid at all cost!

We had the best experience buying our first home with David Tate (Henley, Oxfordshire branch). Jo Sutton was wonderful from the get go, she wasn’t pushy or overselling anything to us. When we fell in love with the house and put an offer down, she had it accepted the next day! Jo has been so proactive, empathetic and helpful during this process. She’s helped chase the seller’s solicitors and kept us updated the whole way, she’s made a stressful process that little bit easier just by being with us the whole way. If you are looking to looking for a lettings agency in Oxfordshire, please take the time and read my review. I promise it will be worth it. My family and I have relocated from the North, a considerable distance, during the pandemic, with a baby and a cat. So stressful and overwhelming to say the least. I have dealt with agencies before so my expectations were low, but when I actually started to look for a house in Oxfordshire, almost all agents were even worse than what I expected. From cancelled viewings on the day, to promising they call and never calling, you name it, I had it. I was so stressed and upset. And then came Davis Tate. Our interactions were mainly with Dominic, but I did speak with other agents at time. From the very beginning the interaction was impeccable. We could not travel so far with the baby just for a viewing, so Dominic was very understanding and facilitated a video tour. He was incredibly prompt. He replies to emails in a matter of minutes, not even hours. If he says he will call, he calls. Every step of the way he called me to explain what was happening or what had been accomplished on the day. It was fast and easy. We rented the house without seeing it and we were so nervous about that. Especially with a baby, you want it to be safe, you want it to be warm, you want it to be clean. When we saw the house, we were speechless. It is everything we wanted and more. It was spotless and exactly as described and seen in the video and photos. Dominic found out we were travelling the day before and staying in a hotel so he actually made arrangements for us to skip that and pick up the keys that afternoon. He waited for us until 5:40pm. They even got us a welcome goodie pack. I tried to do this agency justice with this review but I don't think I can describe how incredibly thankful I am. Just incredible and outstanding service from start to finish. Thank you Davis Tate and thank you Dominic!

I would like to start off by saying that Davis-Tate-Abingdon have been nothing but AMAZING! This was my first time renting a property and because of them, the whole process was made so straight forward. Dominic Gurden was who we were communicating with throughout us looking for a place to live, he also showed me around what will now be mine and my partners new home. He was extremely professional and talked me through all aspects of the house, without my asking. He broke down the process going forward for me, so that I had no worries or further questions, as he had answered everything. He was extremely clear and all that he said was factual. The process happened exactly how he said it would, I have not experienced this type of professionalism, communication, or knowledge from anywhere else and I had dealt with a lot of other estate agencies prior to finding Davis-Tate. At Davis-Tate they respond promptly to emails and phone calls, they are all very friendly and approachable and go above and beyond when you ask for their help, you can clearly see they all work so well as a team. I can honestly not fault them. We would like to say a huge thank you for making finding a property completely stress free. With everything else going on, this was a part of our lives that was made easy, and we have them to thank for that.
