The majority of our experience has been great!

The initial stage of the buying process with Rowland (Jubilee Gardens, Euxton) wasn’t great, mainly related to head office and the way in which they managed our part exchange. However, other than that the rest of the team have been incredible. Stephen the sales manager has always been helpful and answered any questions we have had. Luke has been amazing, whenever we have a problem he is always able to fix it for us and nothing seems too much trouble. His team are also very friendly and approachable, which is testament to the way in which the site managers lead. We are so glad we went with Rowland and we would recommend them with no hesitation.

Would highly recommend Rowland Homes

We reserved our forever home at Jubilee Gardens. Unfortunately due to the wet UK weather our build was delayed and no fault of Rowland. Sam, the site manager told us that she would deliver a quality home which she did and we love it! Throughout the buying process, Stephen the Sales Executive kept us fully updated and he should be commended on his friendly and professional approach. Finally the assistant site manager Luke ensured that our snagging list was rectified very promptly and he followed up to ensure the work had been completed to our satisfaction. Overall, we were very impressed and Sam, Stephen, Luke and the entire team are assets to Rowland Homes. Well done and thank you.

Jubilee Gardens Euxton, a great choice!…

We opted for a new build as we have recently retired and wanted to future proof our home. We chose Rowland “Jubilee Gardens” at Euxton as we loved the location and the exclusive feel of the development. We have been in our new home 5 weeks now and have been impressed with the service we have received. Everyone on site has been so friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Luke, who works with Sam, site Manager, he has checked in with us on a regular basis and has actioned the few minor little issues extremely promptly. He has been a “Star”. Also, Stephen, the Sales Negotiator, who has been amazing and Chris who drives the big machinery! Always a friendly hello! We are happy with our new home and would recommend anyone to purchase a Rowland home, we are so glad we did. Thank you Rowland!

We cant thank Steve enough for the help that we have received so far in purchasing our new home in Euxton. This man has gone out of his way to make sure that we get the answers that we need. He has personally given to us details of people that can help with carpets/ blinds etc. and we are always welcomed with a smile. I'm in sales myself and have been for over 20 + years so i tend to look out for the things that you wouldn't normally get... the above and beyond... and this guy has genuinely done that for us to date. Highly recommend the service and The Steve :-)

Avoid like the plague

What a absolute bunch of robbing gets. We reserved a plot for a 4 bed detached in Melling and because there was a hold up with our chain, we were unable to exchange contracts within the specified time frame. We had already gone over this time frame when we ordered and paid for £6200 worth of extras. Fast forward a few weeks and they informed us we needed to exchange, we chased up and solicitors were on it, next thing, they cancelled our reservation and are refusing to refund the majority of the monies paid. So far they have said they will refund £2246 for flooring but cannot refund for appliances as they have "been ordered" our solicitors have dealt with most the new build companies except these and have never come across anything like this. I wonder would they have cancelled if we had never ordered extras because they would have only made £500 as opposed to £4500. Scandalous, avoid like the plague!!! I wonder how many others have lost money through no fault of their own....disgraceful Rowland

Jubilee Gardens, Chorley - great move

We have just moved in to Rowland's Jubilee Gardens development in Chorley this week. We met Lisa in the sales office about 8 weeks ago (it's all gone so fast!) and she has been really helpful and friendly since day 1. She kept us informed of progress every week, and we also popped in a few times to ask questions and she was always pleased to see us and took the time to make sure we were happy with everything. Even now after we have moved in she gives us a wave and a smile as we walk past - we don't feel like we have have been forgotten just because the sale is complete.

Great before and after sales service. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff, never pushy, nothing was too much trouble.Build quality and finish is excellent - 10/10. The house is solid, well insulated, and fitted with modern energy saving systems and devices. We are delighted with it and our extended family has been complimentary, to the point of one member considering buying a Rowland home - the most genuine compliment.Three improvements for the architects to consider - every home needs a storage facility, be it only a broom closet, to store the usual housekeeping equipment; the radiator in the kitchen would be better placed on the adjacent toilet wall (to provide space for seating on the long wall); the sink in the en suite bathroom needs to be positioned a few inches closer to the shower door - as it is it is a tight squeeze getting onto the toilet seat (we are not obese!).All in all, we are delighted with our new home and the quality of service we have received. Thanks Andrew (sales and front office) and Tony (site manager! You are both a credit to Rowland Homes.

Sadly my house was delayed by one week. There was no heating or water for two weeks however Sean the assistant site manager could not have been more helpful to rectify these problems without his input this would not have allowed me to continue working. I was also reassured by Andy the site Manager that if I had any further issues these would be resolved. I have to say that due to the professionalism of Andy and Sean I would have no hesitation in recommending Rowland Homes at Richmond Point and indeed have taken brochures to London to recommend to friends and colleagues. Lovely new build development. Update , still have outstanding issues a year on.

We recently moved into our Rowland home at Levens View Ulverston. We are generally happy with our house on this lovely new development. Jordan, the salesman has given us outstanding customer service throughout our journey. We had a few snags as you do with new builds, but we are pleased to say that these are now being resolved. UPDATE We have been in our new home for one year now. Still a few issues have not be resolved. The roof ridges above our garage is a mess. Two cracked ridge tiles on main roof. This was pointed out the week before we moved in! This has just been resolved. Our patio doors did not fit properly. Someone was sent to adjust them. But they soon got misaligned, to the point where we had to fill the gap with draft excluder to prevent cold air entering or heat escaping. We recently discovered a leak under basin in cloakroom. The plumber came to have a look but was unable to fix the problem! We are still waiting for plumber to come back. The leak has slightly damaged skirting boards. Had two new build properties in the past, build by Beltway Homes , where a small amount of snags were put right before we moved in.

Couldn’t recommend Stephen at Rowland homes more. Stephen has been so helpful and is a really lovely person to deal with. Stephen has made a stressful and scary process of buying our first home so much less daunting. We reserved our home with Matt in October (he was covering on Stephen’s site). Matt was super easy to work with and explained the process really well. Following our reservation, we then dealt with Stephen for all aspects moving forward. From choices, to regular updates Stephen was always well in the know and had helpful suggestions and insights. No matter whether Stephen already had customers in the Showhome, we never felt like a burden and he always made the time to speak to us about any queries. Our house completed in early February and we got the keys on 24 February 2023. Since moving in, no snag has been too big or too small. All snags were dealt with efficiently and there has been no issue with adding additional minor snags as we live in our home and become familiar with our new setting. Harry and Liam have been great in making sure we had everything we need and that everything was the way we wanted. Stephen has also regularly checked in and made sure we were happy with our home and that we were happy with how snags were being dealt with. Overall, we could not be happier with our experience of Rowland Homes and buying our first home with them. From first impressions to life post moving in, we have had a great experience and are so glad we put our trust in Rowland Homes.
