We have recently purchased a plot in Cuerden Place and are absolutely delighted with both the quality of the house and the wonderful location. What truly made the experience exceptional, however, was the incredible support we received throughout the entire process, especially from Olivia, the Sales Executive, and Pete and Tony, the two Site Managers.

I bought my first house through Rowland…

I bought my first house through Rowland homes, what a mistake from the day I moved in I have had nothing but problems. A huge snagging list that included a new bathroom and re tiled during to tiling over the wrong tiles they put in. New carpets, 3 leaks , holes in the walls, holes in the felt broken tiles on the roof sloppy mastic work, garden was a weed filled sloppy muddy mess,windows and doors that do not close and in some cases do not open decorating not done, generaly the whole house was and still is a mess my patio doors have also since broken. I have been living in the house for 12 months now and still have out standing snags to finish after constant nagging to the site foreman been lied to and let down time after time even booking time off work so jobs can be done and not have them turn up to fix the work.shoddy workman ship through out. With none of the extras I had paid for done when I moved in. I have still not managed to decorate 12 months down the line due to work still needing to be done! This is not just the case for me it seems the be the norm after talking to my neighbours that are also waiting on things to be sorted in there homes.My advice is stay clear and buy a reno as you will have just as much work to do in that as your so called new build! If you are buying one pay for someone to check the snags as they hide lots of shoddy work and be prepared for a long wait and to be lied to lots! This is the Rowland homes site in Ulverston.Updated 16/12/22All snags finally completed after dealing with Beth from the customer care team who was a great help and arranged for the final snags to be sorted. Now Looking forward to decorating our home.Thank you Beth.

We moved in one of the Roland homes new…

We moved in one of the Roland homes new build at their Finch Park development. The process from the initial visit to the sales office to the reservation and final key collection was seamless and smooth. We got support through all the steps facilitated by Kiera. She was absolutely brilliant. The finishing of the house was good except some minor cosmetic snags that were sorted out once it was mentioned to them. I will definitely recommend Roland homes to anyone interested in buying a house.

5 Star Experience!

My husband and I purchased a house from Finch Park Development in Mosley Common. Kiera has been amazing throughout the whole purchase process. We were always up to date with the build stage and Kiera was very professional and knowledgeable when responding to our queries and questions. Kiera has excellent customer service skills and she always made us feel valued customers. When we collected our keys and site management took over, all 3 Gents from Site Management Team (Simon, Neil and Andy) were fantastic sorting out the snagging. I will definitely recommend Rowland to my family and friends. 5 stars from us!

So far so good!

I remember the first time we walked into the sales office at the Cottam/Preston site and soon as I spoke to Steve I knew he was the guy we’d do business with.Having been around a few of the sites that day, he applied himself very professionally, mixed with a bit of Wit thrown in to make experience more fun and relaxing. He didn’t pressure us and something worked as I already had my eye on on our dream house.We were in the process of completing the transfer of contracts for our new home in January, but we did have a few hiccups on the way. Our house sale fell through so we had the pressure of selling our house all over again and getting Rowland to give us more time and patience whilst we started from scratch.Due to solicitor issues at both ends we could of easily lost the house.At the latter stage Steve seemed to go out of his way and went above and beyond to reassure us and we felt he was on our side pushing it over the line. He got involved with our technical issues and help to push everything in the right direction. For once we felt more than just a sales pitch and he genuinely made it very personal as could of easily replaced us with another buyer.Overall Rowland seem to put the extra effort in, even Jordan up in Levens view (Ulverston) always made us welcome when we went to view the showroom to our type of house.Hopefully (fingers crossed) we should be moving into our new property in August when building should be complete, and as promised is on schedule.Sandpiper residents.

We purchased our house on the Levens View estate, we first saw the sign that the estate was being build and contacted the sales executive Jordan, we were unsure which type of house we wanted to buy so visited different sites to have a look, Jordan was a font of information and advice he arranged any visits we needed. Amazing level of service provided by Roland Homes. This relates to the overall process from first contact with Kiera to the handing of the keys to the property. One of the key features that particularly drew our attention was the frequent updates regarding the progress of the work on site. On the day of handing us the keys to the property, Rowland left us a card and a flower; little things like this matter. Obviously, like with any other property, there are always going to be very minor defects following snagging. It is worthwhile saying that Andy has been fantastic with coordinating the repairs. Moreover, he would ask if everything was ok.

We reserved our home at Finch Park in the February of 2021 and moved in early July 2021, we were fortunate in having dealt with Kiera at the sales office throughout the process, her regular communication and updates really helped the process for us and she was never too busy to assist us even after the sale was completed.The home and build quality has also been of a very high quality, there were a few minor cosmetic snags that needed resolving but this was completed in a timely fashion and Andy the site foreman was always on hand to address any issues we had.I’m glad we chose to purchase a Rowland home and from speaking with friends that have bought with other developers they haven’t had things go as smoothly.

Rowland Homes have been amazing

Really happy with Rowland Homes. Bought the Brantwood 2 on the Finch Park estate in Mosley Common. We put down a deposit back in April 2021 and got the keys in January 2021. There were a couple of little bumps in the road in timings due to the fall out from covid but apart from that it was stress free. Kiera in the site office was brilliant, always on the end of the phone if we had any questions. There was a slight delay on the move date that was in relation to supply issues but we were made aware of this with plenty of notice. Since moving in Andy the site foreman and Kiera have both been great, there has been quite a few snagging issues but things are almost finished now.

Plot 44- Early Bird.

We have recently opted to ‘early bird’ a plot at sandpiper grange. Stephen was extremely welcoming, knowledgeable and honest with us. We had a couple of meetings where he provided us with all the relevant information and gave us a thorough walk through of the show home. My husband and I were very indecisive and unaware of the process involved with purchasing a new build property. Even though Stephen was busy, we were able to visit the show home on a couple of occasions before making our decision. Working with Jordan and the team at Levens View has been a pleasure! Buying a new home isn't always as straight forward as we'd like it, but Jordan has gone out of his way to ensure that the property was ready in the time scale we needed (as our temporary accommodation was due to expire). We've been here for just over a week and the team at Rowland have frequently checked that everything is as needed. It is worth noting that Jordan has (on many occasions) worked late and on his days off to ensure we were dealt with in a highly professional and customer focused manner.

Get a professional snag list

Been here coming up a year. We were looking forward to our new home, what a disappointment, leaks, mould, we even had a flood, garden is like a swamp, the whole build and workmanship is dreadful. From the first time we stepped into the sales office Jordan comes across lovely, until you correct him then he gets on his high horse and denies he ever said it. He also vapes in front of us, which is extremely unprofessional. The fact he shows up on TikTok in his underwear which I really don’t want to see is just not right when your representing a company and living on site, I don’t care what you do in your own time but that’s too much, more appropriate for Onlyfans.

Update for my April 2021 review:Moving home is never easy and my home move was worthy of a Hollywood movie: buyer pulled out 10 day prior to mid June move😡I can't thank Stephen at Thorne Meadows enough for all the help and support he gave at the time. I knew the risk when I reserved and despite everything going wrong at the time I did get another sale quite quickly and thanks largely to Stephen my plot was still available. I am truly grateful for his professionalism and practical but no-nonsense approach to my predicament. Stephen moved to open a new site for Rowland and Andy took over with the same level of professionalism as Stephen. He calmly guided me through the final stages of my move, which again had a few hiccups, spotted things on my home buyers demonstration that I hadn't seen as I was too excited at the move actually happening. Noel the deputy site manager has been great in advising how things work and reminding me at the 1 week review!I can't begin to describe how happy I am with the build quality. Bathrooms and kitchen look fabulous. The house is so warm I'm sure the bills will be low😁Thank you Rowland Homes and particularly Stephen, Andy and Noel.

Huge thank you to Steve at Sandpiper Grange for all of his help with reserving a property. Steve met us at a different development to allow us to view a show-home as Sandpiper Grange is still under construction. Steve was friendly and welcoming. He was very informative and made the viewing the property fun which made the whole process much less stressful. We then returned to Sandpiper Grange to reserve a plot.
