We had a bad experience with Davies Tate in Twyford. They were misleading and unhelpful from the very beginning. As an Estate agent has a duty of care towards the tennant, we found them to be very attached to the two controlling landlords instead. They conveniently didn't inform us of them being immediate neighbours until after we were committed. This lead to a uncomfortable tenancy of being spied on and countless intrusions. The Agents made us pay for both Check-in and Check- out. It's only because the landlords disputed the return of our 1.5 month deposit (for redecorating dated interior and blinds) that an independent adjudicator became involved, highlighting this unfairness out and thus returning back to 92% of our deposit whilst overriding the checkout clerk's findings. Please be careful with them and ask all the right question before you sign on the dotted line.

Davis Tate are knowledgeable about the local market and honest about realistic market expectations. They have a positive approach and are keen to work with you to market your property in the best way and at a mutually agreed price. The branch based staff also came to view so they could be sure they knew the property when talking to people about it. After viewings, detailed feedback was provided and during the sale process we got regular updates on progress and Melissa worked hard to chase down information after a delayed exchange. It was an emotional sale being my childhood home so a big thank you to the whole team for being sensitive to that and for making the whole process easy!

My Flat in Twyford became vacant for the first time in nine years. I needed a new tenant and the flat needed a makeover. Within days Heather Tull had marshalled decorators, electricians, carpet and floor specialists as well as cleaners. While all the work was being undertaken Jenny and Geraldine got into action to find a tenant. The outcome was that a new tenant was found and is all set to move in.....and in less than three weeks from the flat becoming vacant. Great teamwork and great service from the ladies at Davis Tate in Twyford! Really impressed and very grateful.

Davis Tate sold my mum's house for us after she died. They were very respectful of the situation and only followed up at discrete intervals during the months that followed until we were ready to sell. The asking price was decided together after considering the market and other houses recently sold in the area. Davis Tate recommended to set the price at a good, but realistic level, rather than over-pricing as some estate agents do. Once the house was on the market, they were very professional and helpful in every way and even helped arrange for some repairs to be done. They also handled the negotiations very nicely and we settled on a price that both parties were happy with. I would wholeheartedly recommend Davis Tate as a selling agent in the Twyford area.

Geraldine sold us our house 4 years ago so when we decided to move we didn't even have to think of what estate agent to use as we went straight back to Geraldine.
