I was asked by my letting agent, Agnivesh, if I could leave him an online review as his work review was coming up. He actually said if both my husband and I could leave separate reviews. I agreed even though I had yet moved into the new place. I gave a positive review (now deleted) because up until that moment, everything was going well. Unfortunately, since then, Snellers and the landlord have engaged in obvious deceptive behaviour as well as breach of contract as the landlord has now pulled out of the agreement due to “personal reasons and may be looking to sell”. The initial move in date was for 1 August 2024 as stated in the initial tenancy agreement, and this got pushed to 15th August due to building work the landlord wished to undertake before we moved in. I agreed to moving in on 15 August. When I asked for an update and whether the new proposed date of 15 August was still happening, I was told by the estate agent that he thinks it still will be 15 August and everything was going well. I also had enquired for an updated tenancy agreement to reflect the new proposed date. I received a response stating that the landlord does not wish for Snellers to send an updated tenancy agreement just yet just in case we were able to move in earlier. This would save time having to keep redrafting (even though all they would do is change the dates around as the terms were already agreed). I did not challenge this at the time but after what has now happened, it all seems very deceptive and deliberate. It seems that from the beginning they used the excuse of building work to allow themselves more time to decide whether to sell or not, leaving me and my husband in limbo, wasting more of our time and us incurring further costs (furniture delivery charges). That is if they even want to sell. For all I know, they may wish to rent at a higher cost. Perhaps they were waiting for the finalisation of another tenancy agreement with someone else. There is a recent review on Trust Pilot about Snellers using the building work excuse. I contacted Snellers yesterday to ask for an update as I was yet to receive anything since the last update almost 2 weeks ago. Considering that the landlord did not wish for us to have an update tenancy agreement “just in case we could move in earlier”, it was odd that as of 8 August, I was yet to hear anything. I was told that the agent was away on annual leave but that an agent will call back with an update. I got a call later in the afternoon and I was told that they had not heard from the landlord since end of July. I then received a call first thing morning saying that after chasing the landlord, he confirmed he could not continue with the tenancy. It is rather odd that Snellers suddenly were able to get through to the landlord in a few short hours to provide me with this new update first thing the next morning. Very disappointing and a waste of time and most definitely would not recommend. I will be seeking legal advice for breach of contract and following the complaints/ombudsman procedure.

This is a review of the Teddington Management Services. They are are the worse company to deal with and completely incompetent. They have failed to run a section 20 notice in a compliant manner and it is now all the freeholders fault (I have obtained legal advice to confirm it is not). They have not advised in accordance with their role as a management company, they ignore emails even after numerous chases, they only answer emails partially and completely gaslight customers. The time to reply is unacceptable when asking for information that should be readily available. It took 18months to get roof works started and now we have issues with the work/supplier and Snellers are not representing the freeholders correctly. When the supplier says they are not returning they have said ok. I have already taken them to the ombudsman once for this project and with the service currently being provided will likely need to do the same again.

A wonderful experience selling my house. During viewings I was kept fully informed by really friendly and efficient staff throughout the Twickenham office. They secured a great sale and then Phoebe was fantastic over the ensuing weeks of legal matters and enquiries, responding to me almost straight away, looking into things, giving me every bit of detail I could need and moving the process along throughout. Sometimes I felt like I must be the only person she was dealing with! At the tense part of a whole chain needing to exchange, she was the lynchpin and got the job done! Since arriving in the UK I went to register at various letting agencies and the team at Snellers Twickenham were very professional from day one and had a strong committment to find a property that meets my requirements. They also ensured that their other offices were also on the lookout for properties that I did not really see from the other agencies in the area. I must commend Agnivesh that supported us from registration until we found a property. He was tireless in pushing to get all admin and processes completed to get us into the property quickly and we managed to complete everything from offer to move in under 5 business days, even after considering my complex situation arriving in the UK for the 1st time. Kieron was an absolute star along the way, finding a property that exactly matched our exact requirements and we absolutely love having just moved in. We had a great experience from the team at Snellers Twickenham. Aliyah initially booked us into view a property that they had to sell, and we were so impressed by her service as prospective buyers that we decided that we'd sell through them ourselves. Kris and Phoebe came to our (then) house to give us a valuation and talk us through the selling process. It was all very professional and the marketing was of high quality. We eventually ended up selling our property through Snellers and buying the same property that Aliyah originally booked us into view. The selling and buying process was then made that much easier for us, as Tamara was enlisted to take care of all the niggling parts of buying/selling a house on our behalf. All in all, we are very happy people. We don't anticipate to move home again for a long while, but if ever we do, we'll be sure to contact Snellers Twickenham again.

In the height of Christmas, my partner and I had some last minute house searches to complete and Agi from Snellers completely turned our luck around with a beautiful apartment in our dream location. I met with Ali last minute and he was incredibly diligent on the phone to squeeze me in last minute before I went out for work in central London. We put an offer down on what we thought would be our forever home. It would be a stretch to start but we could make it work. Kris (Snellers Twickenham branch Director) told us the owner liked our offer but would ideally want a little more. We did the numbers again and upped our offer, but having been burned before, our condition was that it be taken from the market. Our offer was accepted. We were ecstatic. Our kids were overjoyed. A day later, we noticed the house was still listed as on the market. When we queried this, Snellers ignored our condition and told us they were still having viewings until we show we have booked a survey. We booked a survey. Then they told us they will continue the viewings until we get financing started and book a valuation. We did so. They got no new offers that weekend, but the house was still not marked sold STC. We queried this again, and were told we need to show we engaged a conveyancer. We did. This game continued for weeks, but Snellers told us "hand on heart" they are no longer taking viewings or marketing the property. We relaxed. Survey was done and paid for. Searches too. Valuation was done. Financing arranged. The patient buyers of our home also did their searches and surveys. They were excited too. This morning Kris told us we were gazumped. He didn't even tell us by how much or give us an option to up our offer. So they were still marketing the property. They were still chasing new offers after all. They lied. My wife is devastated. My daughter cried. Kris is happy.

Tamara was informative and attentive to ensuring that the chain linked up when it was on the brink of breaking. It wasn't easy but she kept us all together with her excellent communication skills.
