This was our first time dealing with Snellers Twickenham Estate Agents. We were pleased with their service. Sam Walker was involved advising us prepare the flat to invite prospective tenants. Once tenants were found he clarified every query we had relating to tenants. He arranged a meeting with the tenants and accompanied them when they visited the flat. It was productive meeting to convenience both parties. Sam has been always available to clarify whatever we asked for. I wish him all the best in future. We have other properties in Twickenham/Hounslow. We will approach Snellers again when any of these properties become available for letting.

I used to walk past Snellers on my way to school in the 1970s and so 5 decades later, they were the obvious choice to use for renting my property in Twickenham. Snellers clearly have extensive experience and a track record in the local area and they have the vibe of a friendly, family business rather than a large corporation. I must say that I was delighted with every aspect of the service and in particular, the level of efficiency and professionalism. Alex and his team kept me updated every step of the way and are thorough and diligent when it comes to details. They also found a tenant for my house incredibly quickly, which was a nice bonus. I've had less-than-ideal experiences with various estate agents in the past and it's a breath of fresh air to find a company like Snellers, who really do deliver on the promise.

Incompetent and Negligent.

The commercial and property management side of Snellers is truly Incompetent and Negligent. As Snellers has not created a page on Trustpilot for the commercial side of the business, this is the only place to share an honest review after dealing with Sneller for the past three years, as they manage a residential building in New Malden, and it has been an absolute nightmare due to their appalling service.I experienced damp issues in my flat caused by a leaky roof, and I have been relentlessly chasing Sneller about this since January 2022. After sending over 32 emails without any results, I began contacting everyone within the company, only to realize that incompetence runs all the way to the top. The Head of Residential Block & AST Management was fully aware of the severity of the situation as of May 2022. I explained to him several times over the phone and via email that my flat had become a health hazard, with my tenant breathing in mold due to the leaking roof. His lack of action speaks for itself, as the roof was never repaired.My flat became unsellable due to the leaky roof, and every potential buyer backed out once they saw the damp report. I was also forced to reduce the rent because of this issue, resulting in a £3,000 loss of rental income.After 19 months of chasing Sneller, sending well over 66 emails, and still not seeing the roof repaired, I filed a formal complaint for negligence. Unfortunately, this made no difference, as Sneller seems to lack any work ethic. I had no choice but to step in and handle the roof repairs myself, despite this being Sneller’s responsibility, and I spent considerable time coordinating contractors, surveyors, and securing quotes and approvals from the directors. By the time we got the scaffolding up, the roof was in such a state of decay, leaking everywhere, that repairs cost us £25,500.I went through the Property Redress Scheme, which decided in January that I should be awarded compensation if I agreed not to pursue legal action. However, the compensation offered was far too small to cover the losses I incurred due to Sneller’s negligence.My tenant was forced to live with mold for two years because the Head of Residential Block & AST Management and his team simply could not be bothered to do their job correctly. I honestly wouldn’t wish Sneller’s services on anyone.Update following Sneller's response: the profile you mentioned is based in the US and is unclaimed. This is the only page for Snellers UK and I believe it is important for people living here to know how your company really treats its clients.

Dishonest agent

We are extremely disappointed with Snellers. The property was misrepresented, shown in poor lighting without electricity, disadvantaging my uncle with weak eyesight. Serious issues existed from day one: a faulty electric meter, broken bed and wardrobe with mould/damaged mirrored doors, visible wall cracks, ongoing mould and damp, a rotten fridge, a leaking/toilet seat, parking fines despite our allocated space, and general health and safety hazards. These raise questions about why a 3-year contract was required and whether valid health and safety certification was in place.
