The Trusted AgentAbove and Beyond what is expected - the gold standard of service
We all know that estate agents don't have the best reputation but Maddisons show what this industry should really be like. They are nothing short of amazing. Every single member of the team works genuinely hard to make the house moving process as smooth as possible. We had a very challenging property to sell and had originally listed our property with one of the large national agents who told us we needed a company with London offices to attract out of town buyers. As it turns out they made no progress. As soon as we instructed Maddisons things started moving. Their customer service was exemplary and they appreciated how intrusive and stressful house selling can be. They completely owned the process and took all the worry and concern away from us. From a house that had been on the market with no offers prior to Maddisons they managed to secure several buyer and the sale went to sealed bids. Even after we secured a sale they continued to work incredibly hard every step of the way. I am under no doubt that if we had been with any other agent the sale would have fallen through, but their expert management kept everything on track. There are not many things or people I would wholehearted recommend but I do not even need a second to consider recommending Maddisons. If you are selling in the Tunbridge Wells area in my view there is literally no other choice, Thank you wonderful people. You have been a complete pleasure to work with and been an amazing support in very challenging circumstances.

From the start to the finish our experience of Maddisons was exceptional. Honest opinion and pricing, fabulous photos and marketing which enabled us to gain an offer very quickly in a difficult market. But the real value is in their service once the offer is in place and despite a very difficult chain which almost collapsed a few times they kept everything going and eventually we sold the house and moved. Such professionalism. We have already recommended Maddisons on numerous occasions and will continue to do so as they really are different from any other agent we have dealt with before.

My partner and I had been looking at properties around Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells for a couple of months. We'd dealt with a large number of different agencies, and had become reasonably familiar with the level of service provided by estate agents in the area. From the very first contact with Maddisons to inquire about a viewing of the property, right through the entire sales process, they have been utterly exceptional. Irrespective of who we've spoken to, every single person we've encountered has struck the perfect balance of professional, yet warm, friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, we've received weekly updates throughout the sales process (which, as first-time buyers, has been incredibly reassuring), and emails/phone calls have been answered swiftly and accurately. When we've requested further information or clarification about an issue, we've either had it answered immediately or if it required investigation, we heard back the very next day, complete with the supporting documents to reassure us. Based on the service we've received here, there isn't any other agency that I would consider listing with when we decide that it's time to sell and move to a new property (although, given how stressful moving can be, I hope they don't mind if it isn't for quite a while yet ;))

It was so refreshing to actually receive clear, informative advice throughout the process of my house sale. I was kept fully informed by dedicated staff each step of the way and was impressed by the information they learned and imparted at viewings. Throughout the time of my house sale, I spent time abroad and never had any doubts over the security of my house and viewings conducted by the staff at Maddisons. I received regular updates and never had cause to wonder what was going on. The level of service, consideration and contact did not reduce once an offer was made and accepted.

Maddisons have been very helpful at every stage of what turned out to be a difficult and tortuous relocation process. They handled everything well at the start, but came into their own in putting pressure on the bottom of the chain, managing our vendor and keeping us informed/reassured. Because of the delays, the chain nearly collapsed on several occasions. Maddisons come out of this with great credit. Our own agent was particularly unhelpful in this respect. We would wholeheartedly recommend Maddisons and wish they could have been our agent. In our search to buy in Tunbridge Wells, we dealt with several local agents and found Maddisons the best. They always go the extra mile.

We bought our current house through Maddison's and were extremely impressed by their professionalism and consideration. They were firm in holding out to sealed bids for the seller, and despite not wanting that situation as a buyer, we appreciated that they were managing the situation well for the seller. Once our offer was accepted, they were helpful in moving the process along and went the extra mile to ensure the house was cleared ready for completion. They worked hard to ensure the new house was ready for us to move into and arranged the house clearance to save us the headache afterwards. They were also very pleasant to deal with throughout the whole process. We will use them if we ever decide to sell!

Maddisons Residential are simply outstanding. They came recommended to us most highly, and helped us to prepare the house for market. The sales materials they created for us were fantastic, with photographs taken by a professional and put together in a pack that was absolutely beautiful, both as a keepsake and online. Our high expectations of the agency were justified when the house was sold at asking price within four days of going on the market. Maddisons managed the selling process for us, so that our buyer was reassured when the inevitable delays occurred up the chain. All the stress was taken out of the move and we are thrilled to be in our new house now. During and since we have been gushing about the agency to all our friends, and we know our buyers were thrilled with the service too.
